Here's one line up that I have, and having a couple Mopars myself, I
wouldn't mind maybe seeing a pic of the Swinger (and the Mustang)..

Very cool man - that's how I started in this hobby and I'm trying to get back to! (I have numerous EM project games awaiting restoration.)

Nine year old birthday party in my game room today. Kids were unusually attracted to pins and slots big time. And Mr. Zappy for some unknown reason.

Kids having a good time with the games..

These are mostly the other pins that I presently have set up, and
I also have quite a few more that I really would like to get to but presently
I'm out of space until I get the upstairs addition finished (which at the time is
loaded with stored machines). Between the two rooms, most of the space is
taken up with EM Arcades, but once the upstairs addition gets finished, I'll have
room for many more as long as I keep it strictly pins, but I also have other
good size EM Arcades I'd really like to go through..

Your place must sound really musical with all those chimes going off all at the same time.

Love that! I use a waterjet vendor all the time for work. Parts are precise, clean, and quick. Sounds like OMAX is still a little pricey? ($20k). There was a kickstarter recently for a desktop waterjet machine for under $4k:
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1294137530/the-first-desktop-waterjet-cutter

Yeah, the technology is a bit pricey but the diversity it offers being able to cut Any material from wood to tool steel, from .001 shim stock to 10” thick plate all while holding tolerance in the thousandths of an inch comes at a cost. 20k won’t get you more then time on a machine. They usually start in the 100k range. The hobby ones you find on Kickstarter etc have minimum use other than roughing soft foam or plastic since they typically only run at 5-10 Ksi. A production Waterjet is running at 60,000 psi or more. A bit different. Fun toy though and I have thousands of extremely productive shops running them.

I like the wood color/size that you used on that back wall. Any info on it?

Road show and fun house aren't next to each other? What if the talking heads want to hang out?

The barnwood came off a local barn that was torn down. Boards are about 3/4"x10-12" and came in 18' max lengths @ $1.30 a linear foot.

Everything is in the Garage while I do the finish work on the basement. Just finished the open ice restoration/conversion. It has a mike's arcade 2 in 1 switcher and plays Open Ice and NBA Jam TE 2.0 (with the MK characters) MsPac has a Mike Doyle 96 in 1 kit in it.Next to that is a Naomi machine with a netdim that plays every Naomi game and every Atomiswave game, next to that is my Multi CPS2 that plays every CPS2 game, then my 2 slot Neogeo (with a 1 slot mobo ) and at the end is Daytona USA2 that plays Daytona 2 and SCUD Racer/Super GT.

onthe other wall is SFII Pin, T2 pin, Comet, and CrazyTaxi that plays CrazyTaxi and Jambo Safari.

Yes, those chimes (and even more so "Bells") do put rings in the air..
There's a video someplace on here that a Friend placed from last Febs.
annual Pinball/Arcade party that does pic up the chimes, but I don't know how
to reload it. I'm not great with this lab top, but I'm not bad with this kind of stuff..

People keep saying it but it's a fact.......this thread is the best thread on pinside. A picture says a thousand words. You really enter each pinhead world with this thread. Their passions, hobby, values through a common link to all : Pinball. It's never about the size of the room or the collection (even if some of you really make me jealous lol). So positive and refreshing I love it.

Why wimp out on the big ticket item? Go for the gusto and get the premium for that room. I agree with Tuna_Delight.

I collected all those Star Wars glasses back in the day, from BK if I remember correctly. I sold them at a garage sale for probably 25 cents each some 20 years ago, not sure how much they're worth these days.

    #8899 2 years ago

Yes, from the King O' Burgers. They are worth between $8-10 each, and the price is higher for Star Wars (more like $15 each), then Empire, then ROTJ.
