    Quoted from Pintucky:

I have been successful and own a farm (70 acres) a large home
I have been offered 1.8 million for my place.

    Brag much?

    #7952 2 years ago
    Quoted from Pintucky:

I admire you for being so truthful about what you have and how you got it. I grew up poor and my parents had very little, other than a decent home. I plan on doing the same thing as your parents did. I have been successful and own a farm (70 acres) a large home and a
30X50 building that is next to our home that has a 3-D movie theater in it, a Man Cave room for pinball, and another room with slot machines. I have been offered 1.8 million for my place.
I have helped our 3 grown kids buy homes so as to get a head start, and I plan on leaving the bulk of everything I have to my 4 grandchildren. Some say it is a bad thing to spoil their children. However, there are some kids who know how to appreciate what they have and are not out causing trouble and bringing shame upon the family. I have faith that the ones I spoil will turn out to be alright!!!
I'm still reeling after reading 10,000 sq. ft. and FIVE kids!!!! Whoooo! If you are married, that gives each one of you about 1,430 sq. ft to call your own.

My parents didn't start spoiling me and my sister until we were adults, which I think is right. Of course, they didn't have quite as much money when we were little. My dad is a self-made multimillionaire and my mom is the heart and glue of our family. The first thing they did was help us pay for our secondary education and now I am a physician and my sister is getting her PhD. There is a way to give your kids a lot but have them not feel like they deserve it. I hope I can do the same for my kids. I hear that the spoiled generation tends to be the grandkids of the person who first became rich, so my kids and your grandkids. Hopefully we can buck this trend.

I am married, I couldn't do it without my wife and she even plays pinball and video games with me! She wants GOT.

Nice variety, that Operation Wolf brings back some memories! Congrats on your BM66 LE.

    #7955 2 years ago
    Quoted from Pintucky:

Does grandma play? My mother played my pins up until 3 months ago when she passed away at age 91. One of the last things she did before she died was buy me a NIB Iron Man VE. It was fun to watch my mother play, because she would get excited and start yelling and occasionally she would let fly some expletives when a ball would drain!

Guarantee that pin never leaves your collection! Sad story but awesome at the same time.

My 84 year old mother-in-law loves WOZ the best. She is a fairly strict catholic, so she uses swear word substitutes (that most people never hear out of her) to yell back at the witch. I sit there a laugh quietly at her reactions while she plays. AC/DC is the evil pin that she will not touch.

Very nice. I have an Operation Wolf also, very nice shape too.

Kinda the purpose of the whole thread. People from simple means, to people who are blessed, all showing off what they have with stories on how they got it.

    Quoted from Otaku:

Getting new games soon so going to have to mess up my favorite layout (hate that, hah!) and don't think I've posted it here yet so here goes. Still needed a bit of tweaking in the Out Of Sight/Wild Life/Magnotron/Airport/Mayfair/Skipper row, but I am/was pretty happy with it. Not bad for grandma's basement. (Apologies for the mess, it is cleaned up now, moved stuff due to holidays & visitors)

Is that a Comet back in the corner? Have always wanted to play that game.

Thanks. I did most of the work myself with help from my Neighbor and Brother-in-Law.
Not bragging this time, just saying that I'm far from rich. Still have the upstair's to finish off,
    and yup, for more machines..

Ha! My mother was Catholic also, but she didn't spare the words!!! Her favorite thing to yell out was: "Well, shit Miss Mitchell!" She said that all her life. I never knew who Miss Mitchell was!

When she would really get perturbed while playing a pin, she would utter: "Well, good Lord A'mighty, Gosh Damn!!!"

    Here's to you, Mom!

Are you sure? I'm a bad ass at this game. -15 to -20 scores are regular...or maybe that's the norm...I just beat all of my friends and it is the most played vid in my collection.

Here are the scores for this weeks tournament. It would be great to have you join us.

Here is my severely under-decorated game room. With the addition of RFM, I am officially out of room. Either Air Hockey or some arcades and the candy crane need to go. Or I take over the playroom..

Updated lineup. Added GOT Premium, Big Betty's Truckstop, BM66SLE. Sadly, had to fold up and put away Roller Games and LAH.

Gameroom has now leaked out into living area, hallway, etc. This is a tough disease to beat.ad0700ffb954ae51a716a581b119b91ad3373b2f (resized).jpg

I love that. I have two game rooms. One is in my Condo with five pins WCS, JM, ST, WOZ & MMR.
The other is at my Mom & Dads house with two pins DE Star Wars and Sopranos. I do this as my Mom loves to play and she just turned 80. It's great to see her having a great time playing. She'll be laughing as she plays Sopranos (game is set to adult language) as the game drops f-bombs. She to will drop her own f-bomb sometimes as she plays.
I hope she keeps flipping for a long time.

Stick with it buddy. We're all here to lend support in your difficult time of battling this disease. It looks like you're doing pretty good so far. I mean... at least you can still get to the thermostat... well, somewhat.

Pretty sure I have toured this plane in Monterey years ago at a car/plane show. It was beautiful, and very cramped.

    #7979 2 years ago

Currently sharing the game room with my 3yo daughter...here is "my side". Also have a ping pong table that I unfold as needed. While the room size is great at almost 700 sq ft unfortunately it is on the 2nd floor! I didn't know I would want pins/vids when we bought the house. Would love to rotate games in and out but just not easy. Maybe one day!

HaHa. That's just my fail at a panoramic shot. The room is essentially a rectangle.

Added some mirror + UV carpet to my 3rd car garage to spice it up a bit

Yup, all free if you find places that will give them up. That one wall took about 20 or so pallets. The biggest pain was cutting the pallets up but I think it was worth it!

I've actually been thinking about a barnwood accent wall in my game room. My parents are moving out of my childhood home and we have quite a bit of the barnwood that was originally in the family room. I already turned one of the beams into a mantel for our fireplace and was thinking about using it in a few other places.

    Holy crap that Batman gun.

    #7995 2 years ago
    Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:

    Holy crap that Batman gun.

It's clear frosted, I put a rgb color changing strip in it. Looks way cool in real life. It's the only one in existence. Beatmaster, he makes the light up shooter housing made me a custom blue one that the gun handle is mounted on. The mounting bolts and gun handle bolts are clear plastic which transmits the light so they light up too.

Paul, your room is f'n awesome!

    #7997 2 years ago

I think I remember a post from when you got it. Don't remember seeing a picture of it lit up in action though. It looks great.

It breaks my brain. I switch into some sort of thermal vision and just assume that it's the hottest thing in the room.

    #7998 2 years ago

About time you shared. What a totally f'n room you built. Total atmosphere. Love it,and the leg light ups are f'n cool. Still working on my rooms to engulf a person like your room, and your mod is still part of my plan. Great job,and thank you for sharing.

Yeah I posted a bunch of pictures in that guys topic.

Hahaha that's funny, if I set it to white light all the leds are on and it gets quite warm. In that picture the camera is over exposing everything in the room so the handle looks white, it's actually a color.

Hey thanks Buzz, I had to find a friend with a good camera. If you want the room to look big paint the walls and ceiling flat black. Those being black REALLY highlights the games and the bl carpet. I also give a quantity discount on my Leg Light-Ups and I also have a couple of supporting products available now too.
