Quoted from scottslash:Dang, Jody! You and Chris are BOTH building?! I did not know that. Jealous jealous jealous
He did start his first. I hope to finish way over budget in about 2 weeks.
Quoted from Jodester:Outside done on mine. Just waiting to finish sheetrock and then we go to paint.

Oh man that looks nice, how many sq ft.
Quoted from cooked71:1/2 of my gameroom - used to be the dining room . Other 1/2 is at my office.image_(resized).jpeg
Who needs a dining room, it gets used about 3 times a year.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Oh man that looks nice, how many sq ft.
It's 27x27. I have a bathroom, parts closet, and a bar/kitchenette. Should be able to keep a pinball group in action for hours.

Oh yeah that's nice.

Was exactly the argument I used to convince my wife.

Absolute dream!
And then if you ever sell up and move, can be sold as "home office / granny flat"
Quoted from cooked71:Was exactly the argument I used to convince my wife.
Where do you guys find these wives?

Sounds like a nice rental property

Awesome Jody. You rock!
Change in the line-up warrants new pics of the pinball cave. Now out of room and so it's a little tight but it is outta the way and secluded.
Been a while since I've posted picks of my gameroom. Also pictures of my my pinball mania wall. Didn't have room along this wall for any games so I had a blank canvas. And with the wall lights I wanted to have something underneath them. Also, I had to rearrange the layout of the stencils due to the blank empty space in the center. Looks better in the middle of wall to break it up. Was a bit of a pain but turned out halfway decent. Used pinball pimp stencils (yes I cheated). Can't recommend them enough. Simply a great product.

Looks great! How about a coin door and 2 flipper buttons?
Quoted from JIM_Z:Looks great! How about a coin door and 2 flipper buttons?
Lol. Yeah I can draw pretty decent on paper but no way do I want to have the patience to hand paint anything on the wall.
Here's a drawing I did way back in high school. Only thing I have left from my art classes. Have hanging in my kitchen.

Nice to see you're not wasting any space at all.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:I'm loving the dedicated pin buildings!
Me too....but a pain in our neck of the woods.
Quoted from SR230CC:This is what I have. Not much but a start.
Looks great. Any start is a good start. I remember when I had my first game just sitting in a room with nothing else. Then the illness set in...

Just install a real coin door and 2 real buttons, if you have 4 inches of depth space, I bet you could fit it on the wall in the art, the buttons would be super easy, drill a 1 1/16" hole and press the button in, I think the 1 1/16" is correct
Some great games rooms guys. Doesn't matter if you have 1 or 100, always interesting to see what other rooms and collections look like.

I thought about that too but, this wall supports the steps that lead up to the ground floor. So I can't cut any of the wall studs.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:The office in my apartment. I plan to take the poster down on the left and put up the Tom Whalen Twilight Zone lithograph series once it arrives.

Tastefully done. Be careful though, machines breed like rabbits.

Yes but so far pin #2 in my office has suffered the same fate as the Harry Potter defense against the dark art teachers. They get beaten, then they go away. TZ alone, so far, has seemed immune. Next pin..good luck!

I can see the problem there......you replaced a pin with a desk! What on earth were you thinking?????
Quoted from cooked71:I can see the problem there......you replaced a pin with a desk! What on earth were you thinking?????
If I want more pins, I need to earn more money
Quoted from cheshirefilms:They get beaten, then they go away.

Phew, I thought I was doing something wrong! But is it truly a "forever" home? You may want to rephrase that as well!

Those beautiful games deserve a bigger room.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:Rephrase- I complete their wizard modes..then they find new forever homes..
You are the Pinball Wizard completing all those modes!! LOL. I would have never gotten rid of the TFTC.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:If I want more pins, I need to earn more money
Looks like a nice TZ - it's definately keeper material. Was my first game and is still there.
Quoted from Colsond3:You are the Pinball Wizard completing all those modes!! LOL. I would have never gotten rid of the TFTC.
Me neither... If I were to choose I'd part way with the TZ...
Quoted from tamoore:The work on the EM parlor continues.....
That carpet is great!
