    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

How are these wired up? Just a normal plug outlet?
How many can be safely strung together?
Are they just cut at the end to custom size them?

The controller has a normal plug outlet.

Every 5 meter (16ft) on the Dream Magic there is a plug-input so you can add more juice (or amps) into the string.

    You can cut them every 3 LED's (cutting/soldering pads every 3 LED's)

I have 60 ft on one 10A 12v power adapter at the moment, and working fine.

Although I started a separate thread on the build of my game room, here are some images of the end result, fitting the title of this thread. Missing a few key items, but basically all there and ready to fire up. I was fortunate in that I had 2900 sq. ft. of space to "have at it". So I did.

Wow this is an amazing gameroom ... just so big , Lucky man ...

    #5657 3 years ago

You could have 100 people down there and they still wouldn't bump into each other.

    Quoted from DefaultGen:

rcbrown I can't see any of your pics because of the glare coming off that Galaxy cabinet.

And powder coated coin door and legs? If you ever decide to sell that, it will have to be the most expensive Galaxy ever put on the market!!! It does look good though, I'm assuming you refurbed the entire thing.

    #5659 3 years ago

Here's my current...still a work in progress. CBW on the far right is no longer there...switched out for the Black Hole and Superman moved back to the other side. I'll have to take some pics with lights on...can't see anything else in the room. LOL

Adding a new room to the Red Rocket Arcade. Here's the first look at the EM parlor. Lots of work left to do, but it's a start!

Definitely...perhaps a bit much for an old Dracula. Blue 5 SMD's under the slingshots, purple haze 2 SMD's mid-playfield, Red 5 SMD's upper right playfield and frosted white under the corner plastics. LED's tastefully behind the BG. It's almost biblical to look at...LOL.

    Quoted from AlexSMendes:

Wow.... tell us more about this DRACULA!!!

Dracula is an early solid state pinball made by Stern in 1979, with a fun horseshoe shot in the upper left playfield.....jk hahaha. All joking aside, I love this pin (aside from liking anything vampire), and it's in excellent shape. Of the older Sterns, Dracula and Seawitch are definitely my top two.

Wow. It's been a year already. Did you get the bowling lane set up?

    #5672 3 years ago

I was watching the show "Million Dollar Rooms" and there was a big pinball collector out in Utah. Wouldn't happen to be a Pinsider, would they?

Their gameroom is six times the size of my whole house.

Wow! I would love to have one lane bowling, and this guy has two. If I won the lottery I could buy the house next door and gut it to do something cool like that. With a secret underground tunnel.

I worked on a machine last year. Gottlieb Monte Carlo that a guy inherited when he bought a house. He was an architect and they were in the process of gutting the hole place. He bought it for the two lane brunswick bowling alley in the basement. I am not a big bowler, but it was just too damn cool.

The nice thing about your place is that it's like a maze, lots of different rooms and cubby holes filled with cool stuff.

I saw a concrete floor that looked like an old wood plank floor. Really cool looking.

Just need to replace it with a brass one!

    #5684 3 years ago

Thats not even the pin area. The right wall will have a row, but the rest is theatre area. If only there were no poles at all down there!

    #5685 3 years ago

Is there gonna be a wall where the 2 2x4's are on the floor?

    #5686 3 years ago

Ya, just a 36 inch wall that ill put a countertop on to make a little bar besides the good sized bar im also building. I may eventually get an air hockey for the front of it. The way its looking i should be able to fit 30 pins, my skeeball, air hockey, foosball, tv/theatre area and a bar. Im going to put a tv in the bathroom and add a urinal just because, and i was originally thinking of putting a megatouch in there until i realized that that is pretty gross! Ill pist the progress every so often!

    20151224_114713_(resized).jpg

    #5687 3 years ago

That sounds good. A good way to "hide" that pole would be to paint it silver and put wavy glass block around it from the counter top to the ceiling. Maybe wrap the pole with the good pattern and color changing rgb strip. Would that look sharp through that block.

    #5688 3 years ago

I'm working on a smaller room with a pole in the center. Made a small bar out of it, kind of.

Love the Mustang and Soccer pins. Two of my favorites back in the day. Looks like a great EM row to me.

Yup that works great too especially when you light it up like you did. My poles ate 6ft apart so my bar fits perfectly between 2 of them.

    #5692 3 years ago

Over flow into living room until I get furniture moved out of guest room image_(resized).jpg

    #5693 3 years ago

The pole in that area will be blocked in and have light switches on it, the other poles will probably have small tables on them for drinks

    #5694 3 years ago

From a few weeks ago. This was the first time the youngin's saw a pinball machine. Now they're bugging they're parents. Will have some more tomorrow when wife's family is over.

Not polished, but something new. It's called polyaspartic, with a ton of aluminum powder and flakes mixed into it. Very durable and looks so shiny, it might be wet and you'll never know it. Very cool, do a google search on that finish.

Wife's family is over tonight. Even her uncle from Canada is digging AC/DC, WOZ and Metallica. Last thing he played was an EM.
