I know I could go through the forums and maybe find what I need.

I have all of the Stern Mods for TWD.

I want to see how the pro, the premium, and the LE look when fully modded with Sterns mods.

Ill eventually decide which one I want to buy to mod out.

Alright lets see them, time to let your baby shine. Even if you just have a modded out TWD with non stern mods they are welcome too.

Im looking for full machine pics from all angles.

Not too many mods - three signs, shooter Rod and the zombie tank.

Mods never end on this

I will take a video of my LE tomorrow and post it here. I have every possible mod you could buy from the pinball refinery on it, plus Mezel mods, hooked and others.

My TWD LE #72.

Color DMD, prison fence mod w/el wire, Bicycle girl lighting mod, well walker guts LED mod, art blades, shaker motor.

Zombie Shooter Rod, ramp lighting and plastic protectors still to be added.

The LE looks amazing.

The blood spatter mod applied to the PF glass is epic.

Someone should post a pic of that

I like the sherrif's badge on the coin door.

These look great, any wider shots of the LE? Kinda want to get the (full) picture of how this will look with the rails and tank.

Those playfield mods are awesome. The EL wire fence really stands out.

At some point I can take wider more current pics for you but my camera lens on my phone got scratched and I'm not in a rush to buy a new one or upgrade just now. You stated "I want to see how the pro, the premium, and the LE look when fully modded with Sterns mods."

The answer is anyone of those models will look great. TWD has a busy beautiful playfield that fits the theme very nicely. Cabinet art is really personal taste. Some want characters and others don't want to see any characters. You can't go wrong with any choice imo.

I don't have many pics of them on an actual game, but I do have several of the light kits and TWD acrylic designs mounted in a speaker panel.

- Doug (SpeakerLightKits.com)

PS: It is the red mirrored design that is pictured on the bottom in the 3 color change gif. The black design does not have the walker blood splatter etched and does not change with the light changing as the picture shows.

The paint may look better, but I really think it is the added hair that makes the biggest improvement. Very nice.

#22 4 years ago

Where oh where did you find that zombie topper? I'm guessing you made it yourself but what was the base for it?

I'm also interested in the train tracks that go over the ramp. Where do you buy that? I've never seen it before this post.

#23 4 years ago

Why put GI Joe's in a pinball machine?

That's my #1 gripe on IM & Avaturd.

I like Avatar but that shit ass GI Joe in a cheap glossy coffin ruins a very cool game.

So IMO GI Joe's do not belong in TWD either.

BTW I am just jealous I don't have a TWD so don't take me too seriously

Not GI joes, two inch miniatures the scale is perfect for the game. Plenty of guys have them in their TWD pins, your the first to hate on them.....lol

Train tracks I got at a hobby store that sells models, and the topper I got at a Halloween store. You can choose different animated zombie types. I have it wired into my extra plug under start button. Every twd has that plug, so why not wire in a button and have it do something. When you push the button it moves and blinks eyes and makes moaning sounds

That's awesome! And way over my DIY head.

I know man. Like I said I'm prolly just sour grapes because I don't have one.

LOL no way! It is as easy as installing a button and putting the topper on with zip ties and as far as the train tracks just wire snip the sides a little so it is flush with side wall and bend the track with pliers.

I'm seeing a ton of awesome mods.

Did anyone with a Premium or Pro install all of the Stern mods?

#33 4 years ago

Here is a short video of my LE in action. It is my 11 year old son playing so don't expect a pinball Wizard Watch in HD

A. No. Although I really enjoy the show, I played the Pro first before deciding to purchase it
B. No, read answer A. above

I never watched the show prior to owning but have recently began enjoying the program, pre-ordered an LE as soon as it was announced because its Zombies and pinball. It turns out that its an amazing pin, plays great and music and SFX are top notch, my favorite pin to date, and yes the LE is still worth it for me.

#37 4 years ago

LE before i played it. PRO is definitely a step down after many many many games on the LE. For me , it's about having the best version of the game. Is it worth the extra money. Probably not , unless you have to have the best version.

#38 4 years ago

I ordered my LE after playing a PRO at a local arcade.

I was sold on the game play after playing the PRO and decided to take the plunge on the LE as I am a fan of the TV Show.

I do not regret my decision one bit.

I love my LE.

Some preventative air flow maintenance measures was to install intake cooling fans at top of back box and exhaust speaker fans and an exhaust fan at bottom of pin. Keeps everything nice and cool and adds a little lighted feature.

No over heating issue, I just took the back glass off one day of pin getting played all day and a bellow of hot air rushed passed me, sooooooo times 10 years down the road something may or may not go out on ya, granted the fans will have to be replaced now and again, but I figure for 10 bucks you can make your speaker grills look good with led exhaust fans. I added the intake fans cause I had a pair of PS3 cooler bar fans I picked up for 10 bucks. All I did was zip tie them in there and wire them into extra power cable. Hell you could just buy an USB extender wire and run it to your usb port if you wanted.

Have you got some more info on the train tracks please as asked in a shop here in the UK and they didn't have anything close and suggested the size was S gauge which was very rare?

Happy to try to buy online from US.

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers
Greg

Gargraves American Flyer S Gauge is what you want to go with, the train store near me gets some in from collectors now and again. They only have curved track right now.
