Lots of talk about getting the shooter lane groove milled.

I get the love of having a shooter lane, I really like the plunger skill shot. But so many modern pins don't have a plunger skill shot and without the plunger it seems a waste to use up so much playfield real estate on a shooter lane where the ball launch is controlled by pressing a button.

I was always surprised and I think it would be great if more pins were like Bally Spectrum where the ball is launched onto the playfield through the flippers or it could be shot in through a subway once it drained to anywhere on the playfield for the next ball launch.

The removal of a shooter lane opens up a lot of room on the playfield without needing to use a wide body.
