Something you don't see too often.

That's cool! There was mutual respect going on there. Thanks for posting

Very cool. I would love to ever be that close to an eagle.

We get eagles here quite often, being on the edge of northern NH. Hawks are the pigeons of my neighborhood.

Bald Eagles are coming back all over. They are in PA and NJ. I've seen them a bunch of times by the Delaware Water Gap.

    Was that from Alaska?

I think it was more along the lines of the eagle not feeling threatened at all by the cat; and the fully domesticated cat not knowing how absolutely terrified of the eagle it should have been.

I’m guessing Alaska also, lots of eagles flying around there. Very cool

Bald eagles typically don't eat cats and if they do they're usually kittens.

Eagles will avoid eating red meat animals unless they absolutely have to, or the animal is already dead so they don't have to do any work for it.

No, I'm not an expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express and watched the Nat Geo channel last night.

It's great to see bird and cat carrying on the progress that human being and fish started:

About 2 weeks ago I was driving about 45 mph in the main road just out of my neighborhood- I had to slow down to avoid a bald eagle struggling to take off with a large dead cat in its talons. Was absolutely bizarre
