My vuk coil is constantly energized on power up? What possible cause? I have checked the drive transistor and it seems ok. Anything else I should look at?

Replaced the drive transistor. Coil is still energized?

So I found q2 transistor on the PPB Board to b bad(pre drive transistor I’m guessing?). I swapped out the transistor with the knocker transistor on the PPB Board that tested good. Upon power up the coil is still energized. I rechecked the q2 transistor and it blew(shorted btw legs)

K I removed the diode from the coil it test 560 ohms one way other way is open. The coil has 4ohms between. Does that sound good? Is the pre transistor on the cpu board or the PPB Board? Thanx for all the help btw.
