My LW3 game keeps giving me an error on start up that a ball is missing. All the balls are in the trough. The only wan to clear this is put another ball in and then get it to eject and reboot the game.

This just started recently. I think it was caused by my nephew turning the machine off and on rapidly if he drained a ball.

Any ideas?

Actually after testing I lifted the play field......two of the solder joints were too close and the switch was getting grounded out. Seperated them and VIOLA. It lives again.

I fixed this issue for good now. I was able to remove the apron with the two screws and cleaned the micro switches. they were pretty filthy. I will be replacing them when new ones come in.

Here's an update to this thread. I ended up replacing all three trucks switches. The only place you can get the last trip switch with a 3-inch blade is Lakeside pinball .com.
