Quoted from Gryszzz:

Dead Boys in Indy on Sun tryin to make this

I saw the Dead Boys a few years ago. Really thought I would hate it, because without Stiv.....
But it wasn't terrible. I think Cheetah and one other original member were in the band.

Betty Machete and the Angry Cougars, from Columbus Ohio.

Cro Mags are ok lol.
No Mas I love, and jumping in a Ringworm pit is some bucket list shit.

Age of Quarrel is great. Didn't care much after that one.

I saw the Dead Boys several years ago. I had mixed emotions about going, as without Stiv..... (and the Dead Boys are the epitome of American punk rock to me) but they were pretty good. I think Cheetah Chrome and one other original member are all that's left, the singer was in a Dead Boys tribute band I think? Good show.

Quoted from Gryszzz:

A couple weeks ago a FB ad from the Circle Jerks popped up. Buy a $15 "grab bag" and let it ride...
Could be a cd or album or wtf ever.
Today I got this b'dass mf hoodie...mind blown.

John Brannon is still intimidating.
Was that the show in Indy? The singer/guitarist from The Glasspack posted some photos from that show.

Quoted from Gryszzz:

Looked on the back of my NA's Tied Down cd and yep, that's the exact same deranged, insane stare that Brannon had the whole show.
Detroit punk fucking RULES[quoted image]

Have you read the book "Why Be Something You're Not?"
It's a pretty good read, all about the 80's Detroit scene. Lots of stuff about NA, The Meatmen, The Necros, etc.

What is the band that's blurred out, between The Damned and Joyce Manor?
