Quoted from Spyderturbo007:

Does anyone have an Idiot's Guide to Building a MAME? I'd like something that would allow me to run both Daphne (Dragon's Lair) and other games like Qbert, Donkey Kong, etc.
Or does anyone sell one that does both?

mGalaxy frontend does both, and is free.....

Quoted from Spyderturbo007:

What connects the PC to the arcade stick / trackball / etc? So it's just the cabinet, PC, speakers, monitor and the mGalaxy software?

Check out 'X arcade' controllers. Plug into pc via USB port ..

If you make your own controller setup, you can get joysticks that will lock in either 4 or 8 way positions. I have no problems with an 8 way, but your movements have to be more precise. Daphne works great with mGalaxy. I've also played the pc version of Dragons Lair and that's good also.

The Mag-stick plus ball top even lets you switch between 4/8 way without taking apart the controller to switch it...
