How are the speakers? Do they match up or need a replacement at some point with like pinwoofer or whatever?

Quoted from RandomRetro:Confirmed delivery tomorrow afternoon, then just need to get help bringing this thing into the house... then time to rampage!
Delivered and all moved in next to Hot Wheels. The sound of the metal ramps are like pulling your sword out for battle. Flow felt good, but some shots and tough for sure. Somehow got lucky and had an amazing game for me and got just over 97M. Not sure what’s a good score though to be honest.

Was one shot away from war on land. So close, but also really missed enjoying the progression as I was just so focused on keeping the ball alive. Think I got a lot of points during a stacked Rampage and multiball (assuming that can happen). Need to learn the game and rule set, but already really fun.
Quoted from glpinball:How are the speakers? Do they match up or need a replacement at some point with like pinwoofer or whatever?
Think it is just the standard AP speaker setup, but personally it sounds really good and the music is great. But I also don’t have the volume up high and it is home use FWIW.
Great! You battled 7 legends (there are 16). You had enough weapons to play all 16 legends. You had enough in your raiding party to see VIKING RAID which is the 6 ball sea multiball. In terms of stacking, you can stack the first 2 sea multiballs (war at sea and Viking MB) with any of the 16 legends. No other stacking.
I created a rules document here if you want to take a peek sometime:

I am getting pretty consistent with a left cradle backhand under the flipper shot to start a battle. The hardest shot for me is the shot to the shooter lane from the left flipper. I cannot hit that on purpose at all.
Yes, thats the toughest shot in the game. Here's a little help - if you can't make that shot and its a qualifying shot (arrow) for a battle for example, summon a valkyrie (5 combos) and hit the right 2nd flipper button(same button you use to fire Thors Hammer). This will score that shot. You can use a valkyrie for the next shot in any battle/mode in the game so if you find a particular shot difficult, use a valkyrie!

I am glad you mentioned that. How can you tell if it is a Valkyrie and not a Thors Hammer? I know Thors Hammer is after 100 spins but what if you have that lit and you want to just finish the last shot with a Valkyrie, can you differentiate?
Lights to start legend battles are green, right? Earlier there were three green lights; scoop, shot behind the top left flipper and shot back into the shooter lane. The only one that lights green now is the shot behind the top left flipper. The other shots start legend battle but it seems odd that the green lights are no longer flashing. Am I crazy?
Quoted from Scoot:The ramps are not welded together like others I have seen. They have little tabs to crimp them together. I guess the reason for this is to be able to replace just part of a ramp if needed? Well anyway, one of the tabs wasn't secure and the whole ramp side pushed forward farther than it should be. Had to push it back in place and now works great.
I am having an issue with ball hop on the right flipper from the inlane. I made all the adjustments I could (loosening the ball guide and readjust, to adjusting the alignment on the flipper bat, etc) but the hop still persists. It is enough to wreck the flow of the game and makes the shots to the left unreliable. I am considering hogging out the plastic lane guide holes to allow more lateral movement of the plastic but am not sure if I should go that extreme. The left side is perfect. Any thoughts or suggestions? Otherwise I am loving this game.
Easiest solution is probably what you suggested and just ream/drill out the lane guide holes slightly and bias the lane guide closer to the flipper and further up towards the slings to help the ball travel more cleanly to the flipper. Pinball life sells the same lane guide ( https://www.pinballlife.com/data-eastsegastern-return-lane-guide.html ). You might want to consider buying one, confirming it matches and then you'll have more confidence in adjusting one of them to better tune your game in. If you do open the lane guides you may also want to consider adding a shim in the hole(s) to keep the lane guide from moving over time. Obviously if you open the hole up on center it would have the opportunity to shift into a position that could make the ball hop worse if not locked in place properly. Hope that helps.

When legend battles are available (when you're not in war at sea, war on land, or some other special mode) the scoop, behind the upper flipper, and the shot to the shooter lane should all be lit green.

Yeah, they’re not. Just the upper flipper shot.
A Valkyrie is shows as a helmet on the display in the lower left. A fully charged hammer shows a hammer in the lower left. If you have both there is a priority - hammer fires first, then next time you push the button the Valkyrie will be summoned. This way you can choose strategically when you want to complete a battle or complete a tough shot.

Go into service menu and test the leds, see if those 2 leds work.

Thank you for showing me replacements. I reamed out the holes and the play is much improved, but I need a little bit more to make it perfect. I was really worried about ruining it but not so concerned now as I just ordered 2.
The flow on this game is outstanding. I love starting a combo at the left ramp, to center ramp, to spinner loop, and up to viking ship. It is so freaking satisfying when I pull that off.

Awesome, glad that helped! And yes, that combo feels so good when you pull it off, even better if you have ship locks lit!

Just emailed a video. Neither flash green during the test.
Yes service is notified. You should hear back in a bit with some tech help.

This game is great, and as people have mentioned the combos feel really clean. I really need to work on the left loop/crossbow shot because I get a lot of rattles halfway up which don't make the loop. Also, that Longbow shot is tight for me.
luvthatapex2 thanks for the link to your rule set write up. Will be very helpful.
Quoted from glpinball:Unboxed! Ready to go besides I need to attach the topper, ha!

How are you enjoying your game? Did you have to make any tweaks/adjustments since taking it out of the box?
Hoping to get this game soon. It looks awesome.

Only played maybe 20 games so far but it's awesome. Music is killer, callouts are good. Gameplay is fast and furious. Still figuring out what to do. No adjustments yet.
Odd thing is no instructions on how to install topper. I mostly figured it out but have to go back and redo the mounting as its off. So in order to install it, pop off the round small cover in the back right, drop the wire in, connect it to the end of the led strip mounted inside the back box. I have 3 wood screws but I only see 2 holes on the topper itself to mount it. There are a bunch of pre drilled holes on top near the front so presume it's mounted there.

Good to hear you are enjoying it and haven’t had to make any adjustments. I know AP customer service is top notch so if you have a question about the topper installation, I’m sure they can provide information/suggestions.

Forgot to mention I did go through the menu and turn on cheering vikings and color GIs and changed scoring reward to extra ball from free game. Game can only award 3 extra balls as a max btw.
Same on my side. Have about 30+ games on it, and no adjustments have had to be made. Another solid AP build.

I also turned on color gi and I like it a lot. Cheering vikings? What does that do?

You hear cheering during certain things seems like, haha.
Viking Cheering replaces all of the callouts and damage sounds during battles and modes with viking cheering sounds. Some people like it, most don't that why its OFF by default.

Loving this game! Had my best one so far last night. Was only 1 mission away from Valhalla and fought a bunch of enemies for the first time. Bummed I didn't get there but ready to try again this weekend.
Hitting the boat off of the ball launch is so satisfying! Esp when its the skill shot and it drops the hammer.
Quoted from RandomRetro:What does the color GI do?
Default is GIs are just white I guess. Color let's them change to other colors.
Quoted from RandomRetro:What does the color GI do?
The GI will match the colors of the battle inserts when lit. Otherwise they will be white.
There is one issue with the loxkdown bar. The locking mechanism drops too low and won't latch. Tried loosening and pulling it up but no luck. I have to reach underneath and push it up to get it to latch.
Quoted from glpinball:There is one issue with the loxkdown bar.
Have you tried adjusting the brass screws on the receiver?
Quoted from brenna98:Have you tried adjusting the brass screws on the receiver?
Yeah that just presses it down. I need it to come up.
what are you all doing with skill shot? its pretty rough on mine i either under or over shoot it its kinda disappointing
3 skillshots
- regular skill shot (light plunge to the rollovers and use your flippers to select a lane its going into
- hands free skill shot (same but no flipper selecting, worth more points and gives you a weapon)
- super skill shot (plunge to the mid left flipper and shoot the ball in the ship. gives more points and lights GOD OF THUNDER insert)
I usually go for the God of Thunder and if this is lit, I go for the hands free skill shot to get a weapon.

Are there any plans for something like internet connected, where you could receive awards or play against someone else with the game, or tournaments? This will be my first AP so not sure what is in store down the road? Looking forward to playing this game it sure sounds like a fun game.
Quoted from glpinball:Yeah that just presses it down. I need it to come up.
I struggled with my bar a bit at first, but what worked for me was to lift up on the lock lever when closing.

Same issue with my lock down bar as well. Just need to push up a little to lock it in.

Tried that and it worked.like a charm.
So I played LOV a ton today. It’s odd, at first I thought I was having buyers remorse because it wasn’t clicking. Then as I started getting used to the shots and making some flow happen along came the combos and more modes and the rockin music. It’s a damn good game. It’s new of coarse but, I can’t stop playing it. This is my first American pinball game and I’m impressed.
Nice work AP!
Fun story...played LOV all day yesterday. Walked away for an hour and when I came back it started complaining a ball was missing and wouldn't start. Which is impossible. Looked all over but no balls stuck anywhere. Added another ball and it played normally.
So today I'm searching all over again even opened the viking ship and looked inside, nothing. Then I hear a clunk near the front of the playfield when I lifted it. Removed the apron and there it was. The ultimate stucky ball. So if you are ever missing a ball in the future you know where to look.
