Got an interesting question here that I want to run by the audience...

I bought some metal cabinet protectors from PinballLife: http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=2711

However on my DE pin, it looks like the metal protectors are longer than the pin:

My thought is to not put these on since if a pin is moved, the protectors would take the weight of the entire pin on the protectors.

Thoughts? And if I shouldn't use these, what should I do about a decal'ed pin in order to protect?

Holes line up OK, but I am more worried about moving/transporting of the pin later.

    Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

I'd simply remove the protectors when you remove the leg to transport the pin.

Great point. Thanks all for the advice!
