It is still better than a stripped acorn bolt inside the cabinet and a person spinning the leg in circles to get it out and tearing up the cabinet at the same time.
I watched operators do that instead of unscrewing the plate and cutting the bolt with hacksaw while lifted on a dolley.

Someone has already offered that as a mod here on PinSide.
I am completely truthful.
They used light boards behind the holes to "shine through" the bolts and around the legs.
At this point, there is mod for pretty much every part of a pinball machine.
