Hey everyone!
Hitting the left flipper causes a reset on my Twilight Zone. Any ideas? Bridge rectifier? Right flipper works fine. Didn't change the coils or anything so definitely not a wiring problem imo. Worked fine until some time ago.
Regards.

Ok, so it's not just a left flipper problem. I was hitting the right flipper only this time and it still reset. Seems to be a both flipper problem. I changed the bridge rectifiers a year ago. Could it be that I soldered something on wrong?
Follow the steps on pinwiki to diagnose the reset issue!

Find the gray wires leaving the WPC board. Follow them to an inline splice "Z" connector. Reseat both sides of that connector.
Ok, just before I dive in, any advice on how to diagnose a failing BR2/C5? Any symptoms? What to poke with a multimeter?
Quoted from mountennier:Hai,
TZ of mine also resets when both or just one flipper is pressed. I noticed that if that happens the D19 diode comes on and immediately goes off again. Is that also the case with your TZ ? (the diodes are D19 should be off, D20 blinks and D21 is on).
It goes on for about 3 seconds, then it goes off.
