That's what I was thinking...crashpad, take your hand and see if you can manually move the flipper very easily. If so, you need to tighten the pawl that holds the flipper shaft from moving. It can be a tricky process becasue you have to tighten it when the flipper is in it's natural resting position. Also, sometimes it takes a lot of force to tighten it enough...first time you do it you may not want to crank it down as hard as it needs to be and it will come lose after a couple plays.
