Cointaker has an led color changing door kit already. I consider it a must have mod, and is super easy to install.

Quoted from TheLaw:Hmmm...chrome I think. Yeah chrome there and I think I got the chrome Powerfield lamp. That thing is pretty.
And expensive!
Too cool to not get though. Going to place my order soon.

I agree. Love mine!
I do not have it changing color though. Just fading/pulsing white looks best to me.
Quoted from vicjw66:Thanks. I'll order the warm white wedge ones. It seems like a better alternative than switching out the sockets.
Wouldn't the cool white look better overall on the TZ translite than warm white? Seems there are more cool colors than warm, but maybe not...
I've found the bulbs from BCsPinball to have very little strobbing. I still can't get any reply from the guy there, so if you need any service I'd avoid them, but the GI bulb worked great.
The only time I received a reply was when I complained on here about never receiving a reply. I did have some issues with "cyan" bulbs. They were both different colors and most of them were damaged. I'm hoping it was just an issue with that order, but I was really counting ont them for my Johnny Mnemonic. I also had some bulbs on backorder. My other question was to see if I could add bulbs to that backorder shipment. Maybe posting here will work again, but also tell him to check his business email every now and again. His product seems to be very good, but unless he cleans up his website and improves customer service he'll always be light years behind the other vendors.
Quoted from wbradley:cool white is not really white.
Neither is the warm white.
I believe that Cointaker actually describes their cool white as being more "white" than their warm white.
