Ok, the general LED debate has been done to death here and I've seen tons of discussions about what kind of LEDs should be used for inserts, GI and back boxes but I've actually seen very little discussion on how to handle flashers and spot lights when doing a LED conversion.

When I orginally started adding LEDs to my pins a few years ago I bought the flashers being sold at the time and couldn't stand the strobe effect they created. Since then, I've slowly converted everything else to LEDs as the available options and quality has improved but I've never revisited the flasher issue. Has anything changed? Do most of you doing LED conversions do the flashers as well? Any thoughts on this? mostly for 90s DMD games but I also have flashers in Gorgar that I'm going to need to address.

As for spotlights, the only game it comes up for me is Space Jam (I know, I know, not a favorite around here but good game for kids and non-pinheads). I haven't been able to find anything that looks good to use in there...I think I probably need to stick with warm whites and the CT supers didn't work and I don't have any other options on hand in a 555 bulb. I'm thinking a warm frosted bulb is my best bet, but I wanted to get some thoughts before i put in that order. What do you all generally do for spotlights? Is it game specific or is there a general rule? I could see going with a colored light in a game where blue or green made sense, but in most cases I'm thinking its got to be white.
