Hello guys
Does anyone know the bulb type/model that is used in the Zep pinball topper?

Quoted from Ericpinballfan:No bulbs. They are mini led boards.
For the spot lights too?
Topper pic (resized).JPGQuoted from beelzeboob:I'm very happy for you! I'm a loser so I'd have to pay some scam artist $225 if I wanted to get one.
In related news: Can somebody tell me why everybody seems to have their toppers and I'm still waiting??? WTF??? I swear to God I ordered the thing as soon as it was announced.
It's not just you. My order was in February. The company keeps touching base but still hasn't arrived or shipped
Quoted from LOTR_breath:[quoted image]
Well at least that's better than the Billy Squier no music video
Quoted from Chalkey:Unboxed my premium today! Going on location at Crazy Rooster brewery in Powhatan, VA later this week.
The glass is this thing is REALLY tight. Like a bit concerning how tight it is. It comes out but no way you're doing it without leaving some big smudges on the glass. Other than that, aces / 10 probably the most launch ready game I've ever received. Came with the spinner fix and 1.02 code installed even. Put a DBA in it, a little brain lube on the spinners, and she is smoking. Only other issue is it came with these nice cards in it instead of the big yellow price card which is what I actually needed. Didn't see any in the bag like there usually are.
That's why I use these type of gloves with gripper dots. I started using them to replace tubes in my audio gear. Safety and no hand oil residue

Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Bummer, they don't and won't ship to USA, I've tried twice in the past.
Looks like a fun product.
I've used these guys a few times over the last couple years...My last shipment arrived 5 days from the time I ordered the item from the company that ordered from
Quoted from LOTR_breath:Dude, you're still on 1.0? The answer is no, you can jump right to the latest version without any problems.
I travel a lot, and don't always search for updates
Please clarify...so I cannot skip FW Revs?
Thanks
Quoted from NickBuffaloPinball:I'm worried that somehow we got derailed from the seizure flasher EM thread, and I'm sorry for any part I played in that.
Back on topic: Perhaps the middle ground is a setting in the menu system, something like, "EM Seizure Flasher Enabled? Yes/No".
Haven't been playing ....do we still get that cool subwoofer pulse ripping the EM spinner
August is the reply i received for the topper too
As for the spinner, haven't had any more issues after t a couple tweaks and 1.00 upg
Bend the spinner pins...like he said, so the spinner is near vertical. Slight lean forward from the top.
Code 1.0 or higher should keep you from bashing it which knocks it off.
Quoted from LOTR_breath:Yes, and yes. The new design the arms are 45 degrees. With the old design they are 90 degrees.
Quoted from Jamesays:you mean my highscore is less than another players bad ball ?
Any consolation, my high score is close to one of your bad balls...
Quoted from feedthebiscuit:Tips needed on how to get to a Billion on Led (Premium Edition)?
As a average player, I struggle to get past 300,000+ on my best games after 3 weeks using all of the out of the box settings. I know that the first answer is to get better, but I would like to get some suggestions from those who break 1 billion. It seems like there are 3 main components to a high score - 1) Keeping the ball in play 2) Getting as many extra balls as possible. 3) Knowing what are the accomplishments that will drive the highest score and obviously being able to hit those targets.
I have looked at the rules at a couple of different places, but they really don't describe the strategy to maximize scoring.
What are the first 5 things that you try to accomplish to get higher bonuses and scores? The good news is that even though I stink - I love playing this pin.
Thanks
RAYDAY has a good play tutorial
Watch and note a bit at a time or roll through it...I'm a wanna be rookie, but has definitely helped

ok curious and maybe dumb questions upon reading about EQ settings...
Every time we update, do we need to reset the EQ, ie the settings default to the latest code update?
Quoted from swampfire:I wish MezelMods hadn’t changed the color of their Big Ben / Parliament mod. The one one the website looks a lot more like the actual building.
I haven't installed my mod yet, going to use some rub and buff before I install it.
Quoted from swampfire:Which color gold are you planning to use?
I have quite a bit of different colors for some of my steampunk stuff to experiment with, but as you show the pallet, likely Euro gold for most of the building and gold leaf around the clock and some of the pillars
Will also light it up on the table to see what pops
Pewter on the roofs of course
Any of the other topper owners having issues. I know there was a code issue, so I'm asking about current.
I've had a back order for mine for months, but I've gotten over not having the topper and will cancel my order if there are issues.
Getting my grandkids into pins is exactly why I like the toppers and setting up my room
Quoted from CrazyLevi:...when I was 12 the topper on High Speed definitely wowed the f out of me and probably helped me get into pinball!
Quoted from swampfire:Here’s the before pic.trust me when I say that if I can do this, anybody can. It just takes a light touch and not using too much paint at once.
Bro that is awesome
Still need to do mine...what colors did you choose?
Thanks,
Again, great job.
Rub-N-Buff is awesome and easy to use. Done several steam punk projects for Renn-Fest and Dicken's on the Strand here in Galveston
Quoted from Hayfarmer:I'd put plastic protectors under the slings and give the whole field a good cleaning and wax. I've also found a few loose posts, not bad, but definitely needed tightening.
Enlighten me Hayfarmer..."protectors under the slings"
Thanks
That is correct
The #5 545-5348-21... 1-3/4" above and the #2 545-5348-04... 3/4" break the most often
Quoted from shlt_thunder:I ordered one in late July and still haven’t received it. I think there was supposed to be an August run that never happened due to parts shortages.
My buddy in Dallas has been waiting since March, I've been waiting on mine since April
Last I heard there was suppose a run in July and October, not sure if that happened.
Quoted from thekaiser82:My biggest problem with LZ is I can’t stop playing it and the other games are feeling neglected.
I only step away from LZ to play Godzilla and I only step away from Godzilla to play LZ
