It really is crazy the amount of hate and negativity on pinside. My wife and I first got on here looking for info bc we wanted to buy our first pinball machine a coue of months ago and quickly learned they all suck and everything is terrible but we ordered a LZ LE anyway and really excited to hopefully get it soon!

Stupid question but here goes. We are putting this in our upstairs game room with really thick shag carpet. I think I need to put something like a furniture mover pads under the legs. Any certain ones to use?

It’s also unfortunate for those that don’t know all the pinside BS about rankings trying to use it as an informative guide for quality or gameplay. Maybe it’s time for a disclaimer banner on that page.

Couldn’t wait till Monday. We gave the fedex freight center employees pizza for a fast pass to the Zep zone!

I had to bend the spinner arms back as well on the magic spinner today after about 20 games. Everything else worked right out of the box. This is our first pinball machine. Any certain settings I should change from default such as flipper strength etc? Also any certain protectors that are a must have?

Received our replacement spinner today. My question for the group is which way to install first. There is a very small tilt so it is weighted slightly more on one side. Install with the bottom towards the flipper or away?

could someone share a pic of their flipper positions? If your supposed to be able to backhand the right ramp with the right flipper we can't on ours. The left flipper for the zeppelin ramp I can but it has to be hit just as it rolls onto the flipper immediately.

Quoted from Hayfarmer:

Move that right flipper just slightly forward, maybe 1/16 ". Fixed my prob..those index marks are a guideline, not the absolute point

thanks!

I ordered topper from Zach first day and heard nothing as well

#4107 2 years ago

Got my topper randomly yesterday! It had instructions but only to plug 2 Of the 3 plugs it came with. I think the third plug is a 12V plug. Anyone else know?

Quoted from John-Floyd:

Please see my post # 3992 a couple pages back...

Thanks! I didn't look back far enough when searching, that's where I thought it went. Thanks again

#4164 2 years ago

Best guess on where to lubricate the spot lights on the topper? Was fine at first but now finger nails on a chalk board metal on metal sound.

One of my pop bumpers is randomly activating. I’ve looked around and am not seeing anything obviously different from the others. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Quoted from BruketFans:

Any progress on the above problems?
Really annoying sound from the spotlight (topper) when moving

No i've lubricated everything I can see moving, just loud piece of equipment apparently,

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

People still seem to be asking $7500 for them, but if someone really wants to sell you'd have to think we are talking $6500-7000 these days.
I got an LE several years ago for a good price and I'm glad I did. Killer game, killer music, and I love hearing Steve Ritchie talk shit about it just like he'll be talking shit about Elton once he gets fired from JJP.

what was Steve Ritchie's comments?

Quoted from kmarrocco:

FWIW, I just bought an LE with a topper for $7500. It has a ton of plays on it but is otherwise in very good condition.

Just out of curiosity whats alot of plays. This is the only pin I have and ever had. Up to 2000 plays now
