Installed my type 13 speaker light kit a couple of nights ago. Sweet look for sure--are those Zeppelin propellers??--but bent plastic from Pinball Life doesn't quite solve the glass reflections from the speaker lights since the speakers are wider than a DMD.

Loving the game, but really looking forward to the EM spinner fix! Oh, and the topper too.

This is our cue to shrug and say "Welp, it's pinball," isn't it?

Hope it's soon for you too. I haven't played a pro, but they're so much a part of the experience that it's hard for me to imagine this game without the Expression lights. I hope and expect you'll think they were well worth the wait.

I was just joking, it looks like the smiley on the end of my comment got eaten... don't mean to cause any ruckus. It's cool to imagine what they would do with them, is all... FWIW, from offline correspondence my feeling is what's there is very thoroughly considered and final.

...and like many of you I'm really pleased with what's there! I'm really looking forward to players getting to locations again and hearing from those folks after they've played it for a while.

A well-executed EM Frenzy reminds me of riding a good "Thiiiirty meeeeelion!!!"-point jackpot wave on BSD, a somewhat rare but undoubtedly peak pinball experience every pinhead should try to enjoy at some point.

I'm waiting too--Factory bulletin EM spinner kits are on backorder, like so many things.

I misspoke, there's no bulletin yet that I know of, but Stern parts folks say there is a EM spinner kit on backorder.

Sooo.... after a long period of frustration and finally having a game that works as designed, do I undertake the non-trivial task of installing the spinner kit and risking a return to the start of Levi's night last night?

For whatever reason, flipping the spinner working so well to fix such a vexing issue is one of the most "magical" things about the mech. Annoys me that the front decal is upside down, but hey, I can vent that aggro by taking a quick trip to RIP CITY!

Now put a big sub under it and go to Frenzytown, Levi. Congrats and enjoy!
