This game is definitely on my radar, as I really like the band and seems like a good game with lots of multiballs and fun for non pinball people that come to play at my place.

I would like to hear from some pro owners though if they feel like they miss out without the electric magic spinner/modes/multiballs. The upper ramp shot while cool it returns to the flipper seems like its hard to hit regardless. To me it really seems like the pro vs prem debate on this one is all about the EM.

Quoted from jitneystand1:

I owned a pro for 1.5 years and upgraded to Premium a few months ago. Despite what the masses will tell you, the Premium is not a completely different game, head and shoulders above the pro. The pro is really good, the premium is somewhat better.
Really only 3 differences that matter:
1. The EM spinner is undoubtedly awesome. But it's not up a lot, so the game really does play almost identical to the pro for the most part.
2. The upper flipper ramp is cool. Is it better than the stand-up? Well yes, but again it doesn't come into play super often because that shot is among the hardest to hit in pinball. And believe it or not, the stand up IS satisfying to hit. It's just like the train shot on Addams, it goes in there, recoils quickly off the standup and is out of control horizontally back and forth quickly coming back at you. It's a FUN shot regardless of ramp or standup, just in different ways.
3. The light up song list on the back wall. This is nice to have, but it's not really that big of a deal.
If you want to save the $, go pro with confidence.

Thanks there is a pro not too far from me I definitely want to go check out soon.

Quoted from Polypin:

The Pro and Premium are available online. I'm surprised they wouldn't offer them as a replacement part if they are offering the others.

They do that with all the LEs they are glass I believe not translites only make a few extra to replace broken ones

Is there a link which explain the rules of the game?

5 minute tutorial from one of the games coders. He has other longer explanations on his channel also

Just got done modding my pro to have the center ramp on it. Absolute game changer! Love it!

That’s pretty awesome any chance you could post some video of it in gameplay? Does the switch still register? I’m assuming so since it’s a good thing to hit in the game

Quoted from John-Floyd:

Ok I have a question (and please don’t rake me over the coals for this dumb one). I get emails from pinside telling me it’s time to change the battery in my game. Got one last year and just got one again for my RUSH LE. I don’t see any batteries in the backbox in my new Stern games? Am I missing something - where the hell are they hiding it!?

New spike 2 games don’t use AAs like the old games do they have batteries that should last the life of the game no real need to change or worry about them. They won’t leak and cause corrosion like older games will.

Still learning the rules. Is the main objective to just keep shooting the light shots to advance to the next song?

Have I got the video for you lol

This is Raymond Davidson one of the games coders and one of the best players in the world.

Hi all, I’m getting a ball stuck behind the fin of The Mothership (see photo) any suggestions on preventing this from happening? Thank you in advance!!

Maybe a little rubber cabinet stopper right there would either bounce it off or not allow it to settle there?

Quoted from darkryder:

Very cool. How does one put this game into jukebox/DJ mode? On my GNR, I hold the action button down, but that doesn’t work on Zeppelin. I don’t care for the baby blue armor on the LE myself and might powdercoat it all sparkle black or another color at some point. The blue backbox trim would also be easy to change

Hold both flipper buttons during attract mode should be in there called DJ Mixer.

Quoted from newpinbin:

Is someone able to explain the rules for the Pro version? Am I just to hit the flashing shots during each song to basically progress to the next song?

Look up Raymond Davidsons baby’s first led Zep video on YouTube gives a great basic overview of the rules, he also has many longer more in depth videos of you want to go the route.

But yes basically shoot the blinking shots during songs to collect records and move to the next song once you have 5.
