Quoted from pinmister:*COSTCO ALERT*
Hey for those who may have missed out on the first Costco sale on the Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer-they are running another sale good through April 4th and instead of $80 off they are $100 off for a smoking price of $149.00!
Get a sub while they are HOT!-it rocks for ZEP!

Also pic of adapter I used

What is this adapter called?
Quoted from John_I:OK, we can agree to disagree, but just a couple of notes. To keep the voltage down, I would lower the volume on the cabinet speaker in the SPIKE menu. I would put it way down because the subwoofer basically overpowers the cabinet speaker anyway. Second, when you clip onto the speaker in the cabinet, you are actually connecting/tapping directly to the CPU board. That is where those speaker wires come from... You are right, probably won't hurt anything, but this is the main reason the Pinnovators product even exists. Personally I have a cheap Polk and use the clips, but using the speaker level inputs on the Polk. The Klipsch definitely sound better than the cheap Polks, I have one in my living room for the TV and it rocks. We have a Costco opening nearby soon, so maybe some day!
Yeah, I’ve always tapped off of the regular sub wires without issue. Wiring directly via pinnovators looks much better for $35. Lord knows I have enough rca cables.
