Quoted from dinot:

Just looking for some affirmation.....if I love Stern Star Wars (the flow, the speed), I am guessing that I will love LZ Prem?
I've only had a few games on an LZ Prem and I liked it. (If the pro had the upper ramp, I'd go for that one instead). But, I also had a few games on a JP Pro and liked it. A few months back I was deciding between the two. I bought JP Pro and now I regret it as I don't like it. (Looking to trade it towards an LZ Prem) This might be heresy to some, but it seems like Elwin games aren't my cup of tea. (Felt the same way about Lawlor pins back in the WMS/Bally heyday)

Totally agree with you but afraid to make those kind of comments around here. If you don’t like Elwin it is like heresy. However I’ve come to learn I’m more of a Steve Ritchie guy and don’t particularly like Lawlor or Elwin pins. Ritchie’s flow is amazing and his ramps and orbits are so damn fast and satisfying. And Ritchie games feel like you are in a battle against the machine. Lawlor and Elwin pins just feel safer and even though it is pleasant to see the ball go around in circles and criss cross over the playfield on their ramps, they lose speed. Ritchie is speed. Played a Led Zeppelin Pro because it was the only game I hadn’t played at a location. Just got off a Godzilla Pro and didn’t get those amazing vibes that everyone talks about. Three games on Led Zeppelin and my heart was racing and my face had an ear to ear grin. For a week I couldn’t stop thinking about those three games on LZ Pro. Now making a deal for a Premium. Long live the true king!

Quoted from andre060:

Anyone have the drop targets not go down when you hit them with a really hard shot? Reminds me of when I used to have Ghostbusters, the Scoleri drop targets would do that. Fix was a stronger spring which Pinball Life sells. Guess I could try that same spring on Led Zep?

This can happen with all drop targets regardless of manufacturer. I think people are getting too used to modern Stern games that typically don’t have drop targets. Older games from 70’s, 80’s were loaded with them. A direct hard shot rejects without dropping. It’s just a thing.

Just answering that Zep&SW question. They play completely different, but both are great. Oh yeah, and I am officially in the club!

My EM sometimes doesn’t go down at the start of a game. Eventually it goes down after a few shots or end of ball 1. Any suggestions or is this just a bug.

New owner here. Just had my first EM frenzy last night. What a blast!

When EM multiball is over (drain to one ball) is the EM supposed to drop? Mine stays up until I hit a main shot(ramp, orbit, eject).

Quoted from John-Floyd:

It stays up until you hit a shot so It travels down when ball is away from it to avoid issues.

Thanks. Is there any benefit to keep ripping the spinner while it remains up?

Quoted from swampfire:

I’ve only gotten to it once. If you can master stringing together multiballs, you’ll see it eventually. Good luck!

Got to it for first time. Was a little unimpressed. Same song kept playing and really wasn’t sure what was different.

Quoted from swampfire:

It makes a huge difference whether it’s dialed in or not. I played an example recently that felt dead, and the shots felt wrong. I can reliably backhand the right and left ramps from a cradle on mine, and I think I’m spoiled by that.

Any tips on dialing in the left 180 degree shot (hermit ramp)? So hard to hit with any consistency.
