Man where are these LE's!? Maybe its the anticipation but they seem a bit more lagged than normal behind the pro's
Nice to see these finally landing! Looking forward to some thoughts and impressions of game play and code
Quoted from flynnsarcade:Picked up mine yesterday ,Was playing late last night .I Love the game ,But my electric magic did not go down all the way ,It was Higher on right side than on left .It was pinched in and i could not manually move up or down .The motor did not work in coil test ,Took apart this morning ,I Was able to get it flat on playfield By taking actuator arm off motor .Motor still does not work with no Load/Tension On it Motor Bad / Node Board Bad ? What do you think
Waiting on my e mail reply from Stern ,Hoping this e mail tech support is Temporary
Thanks
Coil tests required you Pull the coin door safety switch out to bypass and execute the test. Not sure if you are saying it is not longer working in game play as well...
Man this thread needs stickies! So the fix for the stuck EM spinner is to literally take the spinner out, flip it 180 degrees and reinstall?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:How do I add stickies or key posts?
Unfortunately you need special Pinside permissions to do that. Would be nice if it were open to thread creators as they typical have a vested interest in their own threads
Damnit, spinner got jacked up last night even after flipper it backwards since the beginning. Pins ended up bending from ball hits such that the spinner was resting almost parallel with the playfield. Had to remove it and bend the spinner arms back to 90 degrees with the spinner. Hopefully they put out a new part for this thing. I love ripping it!
From an owner of both guns and zepp. Neither are ‘plagued by issues’ but both have required fixes to small issues.
I keep hoping I run across a post that says someone got their topper or that its on its way. No such luck and haven't heard anything on mine yet either.
Arghhh has anyone came up with a fix for center ramp rejects off that plastic guard? I’ve got my guard raised with rubber washers up quite a ways but still get rejects like crazy off my right flipper. Just killed a great game I had going . I’m at about 7.1* pitch
Dialing in this game makes a huge difference. Make sure the Electro-Magic is flat and flush with the playfield and bend the ball guide inwards so that it sits just to the inside of the left 180* ramp entrance(the one you hit from the upper right flipper). So awesome now!
Seems 1.04 fixes the issue with the ball locked in the EM mech not registering and kicking a new ball into the shooter lane.
Anyone aware of any Stern toppers still available? Was seeing them everywhere and now that I go to buy one - nada!
Quoted from MrBubbles:Pinsiders please help... The Icarus is driving me nuts and close to being thrown out the window to see if he can really fly. No matter what I do... adjust top screw under Icarus foot, loosen bolt under playfield and adjust mech, use carnauba wax on Icarus slider bar... it always ends up shifting and jamming up after a handful of games.
See pic. It's stuck like this until I loosen the top screw under Icarus, shift things a bit, and re-tighten. Then after some games with pinballs slamming into it, it all gets shifted and the Icarus slider gets stuck again.
I've already worked with Stern support and they thought it was a stripped top screw. I replaced that screw... same thing. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's really sucking the fun out of this pin.[quoted image]
Aside from making the adjustments to ensure the stick is going straight through the playfield (which it sounds like you did), the best remedy is to strip all that wax/lubricant/etc off of it. Then polish it with Nevr-dull until its super shiny. Same remedy applies to Elvira leepers as well.
Just missed cracking a billion this evening. Had a great game going and completed 7 songs(no platinums).
I spent quite a bit of time dialing this machine in and almost have it to the point of perfection. No more center ramp rejects, no more side ramp rejects. The last thing I have to do is work on the right ramp rejects but I think I have some thoughts on that as well. Will post everything I did up here once I nail that final piece of the puzzle.
Great game! I missed it.

Take it out. Remove any grease or anything that’s on the stick. Hit the stick with something like nevr-dull to shine it up.
Also use the screw to be sure it’s aligned through the playfield.
Vitty's Definitive Led Zeppelin Ramp Adjustments
Here are the adjustments I made to this game to get the ramps to shoot as smooth as butter. Make these and enjoy a brand new game!

Yup but production is truly random as to when. Heard sometime this first calendar quarter.
