Fixed:

- Lights:
- Fixed an issue which would sometimes prevent the chase light effect from
appearing during Top of the Charts.

- Display:
- Fix an issue which hid the 1st line of instructions during Top of the
Charts Challenge.
- Certain display effects with video backgrounds would not play and instead
show black screens in the background. This has been fixed.

- Sounds:
- Fixed an issue which could cause a song to repeat if it ended during
bonus.

- Rules:
- Fixed an issue which could cause players to have different tour objective
requirements during a multiplayer game.
- Fixed an issue which allowed you to continue playing Top of the Charts
challenge after tilting.
- Fixed an issue that could award the records high score to the incorrect
player.
- Top of the Charts Challenge could get into a state where players could
have their games skipped. This has been fixed.
- Fixed issues with Top of the Charts locking behavior.
- Fixed an issue which sometimes prevented Combo and Icarus X high scores
from recording properly.

Tweaked:

- Devices:
- Improved the logic for the orbit control gate.
- Improved the Electric Magic motor to move to the desired switch sooner
when the motor was killed or the switch was not found.
- Changed the ball search logic so the Electric Magic motor will move on
every pass of ball search.

- Adjustments:
- Added a new adjustment "Top Eject Power - Gate Closed" with a default
value of 85.
- Removed the "Song Select Every Ball" adjustment.

- Lights:
- Improved the expression light shows for several songs.
- Add green Hermit arrow for the Tour Advance shot on the right ramp.
- Added lock lights to Top of the Charts.

- Display:
- Added the remaining number of tilt warnings to instant info.
- Hid the sales per shot text on the UI during Top of the Charts.
- Updated instant info to show all extra balls that can be achieved.
- Replay animation no longer interrupts the Platinum bonus award during
the Top of the Charts intro.
- Added instructions to World Tour Multiball victory phase.
- Added background videos to instant info.
- Top of the Charts Challenge now shows your total score.

- Sounds:
- Removed the "Choose your song" speech call when Song Change is qualified.
- Extended the Tilt sound effect to match the display sequence.

- Rules:
- Modified the USA 1975 Multiball rules to only refresh the shots after all
three ramps were made.
- Added a 2x multiplied super jackpot to Zeppelin Multiball.
- Increased the number of record sales earned every shot in all song modes.
- Changed Trampled Under Foot mode shots to replenish after every shot
during the piano solo section.
- Changed the Electric Magic Multiball's hurryup phase to award the jackpot
values when the hurryup is locked in.
- Changed the Electric Magic Multiball Hurryup to reset the timer when the
second ball is locked in an eject.
- The spinner value no longer resets every ball.

- Top of the Charts tweaks:
- Top of the Charts Multiball (not challenge mode) will now enter a last
chance countdown when there is only 1 ball left in play. If the time runs
out during the last chance portion and a ball is not added, the mode ends.
- Changed award order in Top of the Charts multiball so the eject shot
that lights 2x scoring no longer gives itself a double award.
- Increased the value of the Platnium Bonus in Top of the Charts multiball
start to 10M + (20M + 30M + ...) for each song.

- World Tour Tweaks:
- Victory jackpots will now be equal to your tour jackpot value.
- Victory jackpots will bump tour awards for future tour multiballs.
- Zeppelin Award shot scores a super jackpot and relights shots.

- Tweaked Super Modes:
- Super Spinner changed to 100k/spin for 100 spins.
- Super Slings changed to 100k/sling for 100 sling hits.
- Super Pops changed to 250k/pop for 40 pop hits.
- Completing a super mode increases the value for the next
super mode that starts from the Zeppelin Award.

New:
- Added Led Zeppelin gameplay tutorial videos in attract mode.
- Added an extra ball at 10 Zeppelin Shots (can be adjusted.)
- Added an extra ball at 5 cities in World Tour Multiball (can be adjusted.)

- New mini-wizard mode Mothership Multiball!
- Qualified after 5 songs are completed (on default settings, this is at
5 gold records) and started at the upper eject shot.
- Song mode continues to run during this mode and is used to determine
jackpot shots:
- Any shot that does not have a song award lit is lit for Jackpot
- Any shot that has a song award will get a sales boost that starts at
+10,000 sales, in addition to normal sales for the song award.
- Scoring 5 jackpots will light super jackpots at any shot that is a
current song award.
- Once the first Super Jackpot is awarded, a timer starts. When timer
expires, super jackpots go away and sales boost is increased by +10,000.
- Super Jackpot values are equal to current jackpot value, plus the
current song award value.
- Shoot 5 more regular jackpots while super jackpots are lit to
multiply super jackpots up to 3x!

- New final wizard mode ? Multiball!
- First phase is a 6 ball multiball with jackpots lit at all shots:
- Left ramp scores Zeppelin Jackpots which start at your current Zeppelin
Multiball Jackpot value and each jackpot increases this by 25% of this
value.
- Right ramp scores Tour Jackpots which start at your current Tour
Multiball Jackpot value and each jackpot increases this by 25% of this
value.
- All other shots score your current song award value built up throughout
the game.
- 10% of all scores (including multipliers and including super jackpots!)
in phase 1 get added to Super Jackpot, available at upper flipper side
shot.

- Once you drain down to 1 ball, phase 2 starts:
- 10 super jackpots based on the value built up in phase 1 are lit at the
7 main shots + LED, ZEP, and ROCK target banks.
- Timed phase that ends the mode once time has run out.
- Starts at 30 seconds
- Each super jackpot adds 5 seconds
- Left eject resets timer to 25 seconds, then 20 seconds, then 15
seconds, then 10 seconds from then on.
- Scoring a super jackpot increases the super jackpot multiplier.
- Shooting left eject relights all super jackpots, adds some time, and
resets multiplier to 1.

- Moved to System 2.70:
- Update to nodeboard firmware v0.67.0

Interesting no mention of topper in the update as far as settings. Figured it it was coming by end of month it would be in this update. Maybe it unpacks and installs the software when it’s hooked up?

Holy crap! 3.9 GB. With my slow ass internet it will be tomorrow before I can install.

I really like the sound of Mothership MB mini-wizard mode! Also having the final wizard mode coded is a big deal. With the increased album sales per song shot maybe I will get there someday.

I like the idea of the piano solo section during Trampled Under Foot.

Plus a couple songs get new and improved Expression lighting.

Another EB after 10 left ramps? Do we really need another EB?

Starlink should be available to the southern states at the end of the year and has good speeds and decent latency. Musk has said within two years he wants it to be 10Gbps, which would be fantastic. But even now for rural areas, the 200Mbps it peaks out at currently is amazing compared to DSL and other sad ISP tech.

The thing I enjoyed about Alice Cooper as the monster you fought was to a song and it kind of brought play together.

IMDN is picking a song too but as you spell Eddie and shoot up the middle it plays the song for that mode and each mode/song has unique rules. IMDN is our favorite pin

Right now on LZ I can hit the right ramp and start a tour but it stays on the song I am playing unless I’m just not paying attention. IMDN makes a big deal when you start the mode. Lz seems to move quick to start then I’m just shooting lights

Have you read the rulesheet? There has never been a game that's connected to the music as much as this game. The shots actually change with each section of the song (verse, chorus, bridge, solo). It's pretty amazing. If you haven't checked out the rulesheet, read all 11 pages. You'll be glad you did.

Yeah, there's nothing quite like looping the center ramp during the guitar solo with a hefty Icarus X running. Wait, yes there is something better. Looping two balls at once!

I got an 18.5 Icarus X today and it was sweet!

Nothing better than a successful update! Played 2 games. Love it! A couple quick observations:

- You may have noticed that sometimes when you start a game, the EM spinner is raised and just sits there. You ask it politely to please go away....but it takes awhile. Well, this is fixed - it disappears quickly.

- Song sales. I don't feel like such a loser anymore. I swear I would crank a song on 0.93 code and glance up and have....like....2 gold records and the song is almost over. I'm like wtf? I know I suck but I don't suck that bad. In my 2nd game on 0.95 code I had 5 gold on Good Times Bad Times and then 7 gold on Communication Breakdown. Never happened before. I'm actually confident I can hit that new Wizard mode eventually.

Rock on. Love this game even more.

And, yes, that is #77.....for 1977. Epic year for Zep.

Come on now! I've never sniffed that. I get excited when I see a 5.4 Icarus.....and of course I gank every shot when I have a good Icarus. Noob pinballing at its finest.

I have and maybe I need to adjust my sound on but Here is how i feel.

it’s literally picking a song at the beginning and then hitting the shots it lights. I know it’s more than that but keeping it simple. then you beat a song and you select another and do the same thing. Sometimes I don’t even realize I beat a song so I have to look to see if it’s highlighted or I’ll play it again. As I try to beat songs I end up getting the magic spinner multiple times when I don’t want to and the other multiballs. It just all runs together for me.

Maybe I need to print the rules and just focus on each song and try to really dig in. I don’t know but like it said it’s not clicking.

IMDN, I light Eddie and then I’m off on a mode. Very cut and dry. Each mode has unique animations, some are multiballs and others are just hitting lights. I can’t play the same song/mode if I already beat it. Mummy multiball I spell mummy, the soldier multiball I hit the drop target but rarely do I get these unless I am trying to get them.

I highly recommend going into settings and move the EM difficulty up one notch harder. You'll still get the EM spinner but not nearly as often.

I don't get why the ball save stays on until you unlock the ball in the spinner....and then it will just time out and release......it's making it too easy.

Our internet here in rural WA sucks too. Last ehoh update I took into town to computer repair to have him download for me. Small town ,was free, but I bought him a burger. Previous update took us over 8 hours to download!

Ok, tonight I’ll do it. My spinner works awesome but when it pops up multiple times on the same ball it’s gets old and no longer fun to shoot because it’s just in the way.

I’m downloading the new code now so once i update I adjust the settings

I have already done this and it does help but I still feel like the spinner MB is too easy and needs to be adjusted. If they could make it more difficult I feel it would improve the gameplay. Shoot X amount of EM spinner shots to unlock MB? I want the EM spinner to be really special and difficult.

I have been really bashing my game and not holding back, I have hit the EM spinner while rising and lowering and bashing with ball locked, so far my game is holding up really well(knocking on wood).

Someone commented about the level of interest and Led Zeppelin and wether or not it is a keeper. I think music pins are special and what the fascination with them is the combination of music and corresponding shots and challenges. Music pins are much different than journey pins with a story line that tends to follow the journey. Music pins are usually shoot x lit shots for certain songs modes-rinse and repeat. For me to get into music pins I have to really try and understand the rule set to comprehend what the objectives are and really focusing on a high score approach. When I play certain journey pins I focus on progression of modes, when I play music pins I focus on multipliers, combos, and also mode progression. The more you learn about the rules and objectives the more you enjoy it and the more you try and progress. If you are just flipping the ball to some music and trying to follow lights-it will get old quick. Reminds me of that one guy who said LZ is like playing a jukebox-to me he did not even scratch the surface of this title and it is his loss for dismissing it too quickly. I am really enjoying Led Zeppelin and am enjoying learning the rule set and progressing further and further.

The funny thing about the dude that said it’s like a jukebox, he he based it off of videos and never even played it.

The game has a shit ton to do as is with all the tour modes, multiballs, 3 mini wizard modes and a final wizard.

I don’t have an issue with how the EM is used in game but it would be nice if when that is activated it would go into some sort of totally different type of choreography with mode. Shouldn’t continue as is with what your already doing.

I still would like to see these tour modes get something to set them apart from main gameplay as well with choreography and fanfare.

These are probably my only complaints as it shoots great and is fun.

For me the EM spinner is way too easy-they geared it towards location pinball where people could get easily? There needs to be an adjustment for difficulty-and make it truly difficult. The reason I am infatuated with Star Wars is because of the theme and level of difficulty. If I could blow up the Death Star in a few minutes-it would lose that feeling for me(I need a continuous challenge). If I can make the EM spinner pop up less(more qualification) and if I can have minimum x shots to qualify MB-I will be a happy camper. Make it so

I feel it should be easy to raise the first time then get progressively harder and more lucrative every time after that. I only played one game on the new code so far and it seems like it scores a lot higher.

I'm no computer expert, but I always hit "save" and let the computer do it's thing-took about 30 minutes for me. Then you have a zipped file which you must "extract". You can hit
"Extract all" or do the 3 files one at a time if you can't find the "all". Then you transfer to a formatted drive then to pinball.

Yea I want the opposite I do not want it to rise unless truly qualified. I also do not want the first ball to lock and block the spinner. Let x amount of spinner rips to occur first? I need me some more spinner rips-that feeling is really awesome and I need more cowbell.

It is a little easy to activate but I’m approaching this from a slightly different angle.

It’s a cool mech but once you activate and rip it, lock it and it just feels like another MB once your in the mode. Doesn’t feel like a unique mode.

As a LZ fan and knowing what the Electric Magic name came from it should be a totally different zany crazy mode with different animations. Electric Magic was a few shows they did in the UK that were pure crazy circus like atmosphere and I literally mean circus like with all kinds of odd entertainers. They should get some of that content in there while your playing “EM”.

If these guys are truly die hard LZ fans and wanted this for 30+ years do something a little more isnspiring with the EM since it is supposed to be the centerpiece of the PRE/LE.

Thanks. Each time I saved the files it only took 6 minutes. I will try again.

Played a few games on new code now and really haven’t noticed too much that different yet.

F’ing match sound is ear piercing loud now and I do like having that on. Hopefully they can lower that on future update.

I am finding myself turning things down and adjusting call-outs etc. in menu down because I am still experiencing some crackling in speakers at high volumes?

Just set it knocker to low, got it a second time and damn is it louder on normal.

I think I am in the minority but I do not understand the fascination with knockers? To me they are annoying. My favorite part is when a noobie hear's a knocker for the first time-"What the hell was that?" they reply. Part of our pinball pastime that will stick with us I guess?

I agree. I always set them to “off” on newer machines, and even unplug them on 80s and 90s games.

Nice adjustment, I find the ball gets stuck between two rubbers behind EM unit and the two prongs miss it. This should solve that.

It varies since it's still in the beta, but real world results from people posting their speed tests have been 150-200Mbps down with pretty respectable latency closer to terrestrial internet than traditional high orbit satellite. They're shooting for 1Gbps this year and 10Gbps within 2 years, but even with the speeds they have now it would be a significant upgrade for you. The equipment buy-in kind of sucks at around $500, but if you're rural, the speed boost is a godsend. WA is way inside the zone for getting it right now. I'd totally sign up at starlink.com and hope for an invite ASAP.
