Quoted from Hayfarmer:

Iam sooooo in on a CE Sabbath. I just scanned my thing from Stern and filled out questionnaire. They asked what pin id like to see next. Sabbath and jimi hendrix are my choices.

Won’t be a ce jjp machine. Stern is gonna build it. Will be the most epic machine in my collection. I wouldn’t even be interested if jjp somehow got the licensing.

#1602 3 years ago
Quoted from Diamond:

That hot wheels van over the right ramp is awesome!! Where did you find that?

Lermods has both hot wheels and the troft light. The cars go off with the flasher on backboard. Headlights flash and windows inside.

4 1/2 hours each way today, but #494 is in the lineup!! About 20 games, no spinner issues,

Hayfarmer! Congrats! You started this thread, right?! ENJOY!

Check out lermods hermit too. I'll be putting mine in tmrw

Has anyone else discovered the “Challenge” mode? Hold both flipper buttons in to activate. It’s a timed game with a (seemingly) endless multiball and new graphics with instructions on the LCD. FUN!

A small issue to report today, EM got stuck trying to raise causing a lip and air balls galore. Raised p/f, loosened EM mech brackets and shifted unit over a couple mm’s, problem solved.

Anyone used the "Woofer Line Out" (Node 0, CN5, Pin 7) to connect a sub yet?

#1608 3 years ago

#390 has landed, same spinner issue. Have bent the brackets pretty far, still can't get the spinner to sit straight. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to say but if you bend the supports too far the spinner arms might bind in the hole.

Never touched mine and it works great??? But looking at Yours maybe go back to what mine looks like and check height from pf to bottom of spinner.

Actually, looking at yours, it looks like the arm enters the spinner lower on the right side than on the left, which is why the whole thing looks wonky. Especially when you compare it with the picture from sepins just below yours.

That sucks, man. It's a friggin' spinner.

Shoot straighter. - Steve Ritchie probably.

wow you sure did bend your bracket! You also have to bend the wire on the spinner so that it is more of the 45 degree angle desired, like sepins photo shows

Iam sooooo in on a CE Sabbath. I just scanned my thing from Stern and filled out questionnaire. They asked what pin id like to see next. Sabbath and jimi hendrix are my choices.

I also listed Black Sabbath (and the Black Crowes) as the next Stern pins I'd like to see. I seriously doubt the Black Crowes will happen, but I think Black Sabbath is a real possibility for Stern. Keeping my fingers crossed.

#1615 3 years ago

I’ll be requesting The Who and Jimmy Buffett.

I'd love Sabbath. Great theme and songs for pinball. Seems like a better licensor to work with over Zep. Ozzy's nuts.

#1617 3 years ago

How did this turn into the thread for the next music pin?

#1618 3 years ago

Cuz us old dudes want our classic rock pins! So much they could do with hendrix

Now that you got your pin. Whats your take?

#1620 3 years ago

Very fast, love all the combos. Game is amazing to play with all the lights off! No issues yet other than having to use my tractor to pull the glass out. A few rejects on 2nd ramp, im set a 7°, but not enough to worry about. I was hoping stock speakers were going to be better, ghost busters speakers blow these away. Easy fix tho from pinwoofer. Game was worth the wait and excited to own!

Quoted from cooked71:

Surely youd have to go PreLe on this - that spinner mech makes the game IMO (now that it seems to be working).

Agee, but will wait till the spinner issue is resolved. This should have been found before they were shipped or going into production IMO

#1623 3 years ago

Easy fix. Don't bend the wire, it fatigues it too easily. Im thinkin if I have issues I'll build a bracket to go over top of supports to prevent them from sagging inwards

#1624 3 years ago

25 games in and dents on leading edge of spinner plastics. Should of been angle cut from factory. Guess I'll have to get a spare or 2

#1625 3 years ago

One week delay by FedEx, but it's finally here! Ready to spin it tonight... if the spinner works.

Pur a few things on today, lermods hermit, rgb ramp light and blue backboard light. Decal from Amazon, ebay for jp and jpj guitars. Not sure bout the guitar picks. Don't like em there. The ramp light is pretty cool, has a controller on it, many options

I stuck with delivery for tomorrow vs pickup today.

Can’t wait, what a great weekend LZLE and the super bowl.

Need to get a new keg for my bar!

Just got this fix from stern. Look at the positions of the arms in the magic spinner. It’s backwards from what I have and upside down. I think my spinner arms were put in upside down.

Until it spins?

#1635 3 years ago

The two images from stern completely contradict each other. In the drawing the shorter part of the spinner finishes hanging down while in the photo the larger portion of the spinner is hanging down. The arms are also completely different in finished position.

#1636 3 years ago

Someone did mention upside down or backwards. Do they mean how the wire goes through the actual spinner target is wrong?

Confusing????

Maybe one of these guys who aren’t having issues can post a pic of theirs for comparison because not every seems to be having this issue.

#1637 3 years ago

Hermit and rgb ramp pretty sweet

Look at the pic and drawing in the stern emai I got. The pics are completely different. Notice the position of the arms in both pics. Which way is correct.

I agree with you. But why is it completely different in this pic? This is a picture taken by stern techs.

Count me out of no issues. Stuck now

#17 in the house! The Saia warehouse, that is. Waited all day and got nothing. Called them at 4:30 and they said they were "going to give me a courtesy call" at 5 (after waiting all day) to say the delivery had been pushed to Monday. Can I come pick it up? Nope. It's already locked on the delivery truck for Monday.

Congrats to all who got theirs...I'm jealous.

If anybody needs me, I'll be in the kitchen with my head in the oven.

Looks like the Stern picture is upside down or at least the sticker is. The real Hindenburg sank by tail first

Mine has been stuck for a few days at a shipping terminal. this is my second game that UPS Freight has had major delays in delivering. At least its given me time to free up a spot and hang up some new artwork (and yes- LZ will be making its home next to ACNC).

The guy who took a pic a page back is like my beatles and yours. It’s not like sterns. I think you need to bend the right arm to 90 degrees. It looks like it was bent out a bit. My drawing is 90 but my Beatles doesn’t have an angle out. It’s 90 to a 90

You guys are tripping. The top photo shows the spinner in mid-spin to demonstrate where the friction can occur. The photo and drawing totally make sense to me.
