    Sorry Guys, its mostly the sockets.
    Vendors changed through the years, and can by off by a hair from others.

    Usually, the 1 SMD are Wider, from the original molds.
    The 2 SMDs are narrower, and fit better, but arent always 100%.

    Not all the same factory, but yes a new mold could be made.
    You'll just need to ask your favorite vendor, to consider.
    The negative is that there is a period of Stern games, where this wedge is used, and they are loose, and they fall out.
    (Threads on closing the gap, wrapping tape below the wires...)
    So those customers want it fatter.
    So, 2 molds and triple the inventory.
    That's an extra 100,000 bulbs per mold, so
    a $50k to $60k investment to solve those needs.
