Interested in seeing what people use to replace the mounting tape on LED scoring display circuit boards when it loses its grip and gives way, causing tilted displays. In this case it is for a Pinbot, and uses just tape rather than those square standoff things that I've used on other games. Looks like the tape has a foam core that is about 1/8" thick. Want something that is high strength. Was looking into 3M VHB tape but looks like those are about 0.045 inches thick which is less than 1/3 that thickness by my calculations.
Also need to get a couple of these mounting standoffs (the white plastic thing in the center of the pic) to replace missing / damaged ones on Pinbot. I can't find the exact ones on Marcospecialties but this one made for Pinscore displays that they sell looks promising. It is listed as 0.5" and the existing one appears to have a 0.5" setoff. Any ideas? Will the Pinscore one work?
