I have a variety of games, many of which are Bally/Williams 90's DMD games. Thus far, I've resisted the urge to go all out on LED's on these games. Perhaps it's time for a change?

My chief concern is the poor GI lighting on many of my B/W games. This is really evident when I compare them to the GI lighting on my Hobbit. There, Jersey Jack has installed a vertical plastic "light tube which passes through the playfield and sits fairly high under plastics giving off light in all directions. This works remarkably well.

When I look at mainstream suppliers LED offerings for GI use, I see bulbs that are comparatively short. Does anyone make a decently high LED for GI use like this?

Any other suggestions on where to proceed on this?
