The bulb placement on my EBD (1984) is totally messed up. Anyone have or know where I can get a bulb placement chart without having to spend $150+ on a new set of bulbs? The ones I have work, they just aren’t in the right places. Thanks in advance!

pretty much just color matching the inserts in playfield and general illumination is usually a white. Nothing scientific.

I'm not sure I understand your problem? Are you talking about moving around the lamp sockets? On an original playfield there are small punch marks where the screws would go.
You can download a set of schematics for free. They would tell you what bulbs go where wired to wich wires.
I think he bought one of the pre-made kits (which are atrocious) and it probably looks like crap now. Go with all warm or natural white, and you'll have no issues.
I did find a schematic showing what colors go where. I’m trying to avoid buying a new set and just use bulbs I already have that work, in something of the “correct” placements. I think previous owners just plugged in whatever, wherever. It’s more about aesthetics than function. (Except for the solenoid expander bulb, which was an led instead of a 44 and so the solenoid didn’t work.)
