This is my all LED Pac Maze. The colors are really bright and it is very cool to the touch. There is no heat on the playfield, even after hours of being turned on!IMG_20150412_160153 [1447197].jpg

Here is a pic of the maze in the game. The bulbs are Super Brights from CoinTaker. The board is untouched. It works well, but it's not bullet proof. The leads on the LED bulbs are thinner than the holes. Sometimes a bulb needs adjusted from game play shaking it up. But the look and no heat are worth adjusting a bulb.

The colored plastic part of the bulb was removed. Straighten the leads of the bulb. With pliers, gently squeeze the top rim of the bulb. This breaks the glue joint, you can hear it crackle. Pull the diode out of the colored plastic. Trim leads to same size as original bulbs and plug in. They are smaller gauge so they will be loose. I spread the leads wider than the holes to try to hold it in better.

Just as a follow-up. I put new header pins on the Pac-maze board. So while I was at it, I desoldered all of the little gray lamp sockets. Then I just soldered the LED lamps directly to the board. Now they will not come loose from game play. Much better
