The thread title is super obscure, I've read it before and still couldn't remember what it was before I clicked through again tonight.

Quoted from herg:Hmmm... I'm not really sure how to make it more obvious without feeling like I'm being pushy with it. I'll occasionally mention it in another thread if it fits the discussion, but I try to not spam the forums with it. I feel like there's a fine line between helping people who want to make their machines look better and cramming it in people's faces until they get sick of hearing about it. If you have ideas that could improve the thread topic without being preachy, I'm all ears.
New thread title seems like a big improvement to me!
Quoted from Crash:Tooling required to produce these en masse. PinballBulbs is looking into making a fading LED that matches the characteristics of incandescents. We really need to move incandescent LED replacements forward.
That would be nice. Once you go LED it's hard to go back, but it sucks to give up some of the more subtle advantages of incandescents.
Man, I feel you, managing pre-orders or guessing at investing in stock is tricky when you're just doing it as a side hobby. Your product rules though, you deserve to sell mass quantities.
herg - Is there some quantity of orders you could reach that would let you just skip a lot of the hand work you do and have everything done up for you by the factory? I swear everyone needs this product even if they don't know it.
Quoted from McSirTuna:For clarification sake, would the OCD board work with the newer style led light boards - say in a Metallica premium?
Those already do full dimming ala OCD. It won't work with them, but it doesn't need to. That's how Metallica can fade the GI during Fade to Black for instance. Or how Star Trek does those color sweeps.
Quoted from Shaneus:Woo! This makes me happy And all good on the AU shipping thing. Kinda used to it by now, most online stores either charge a ludicrously high amount or don't ship at all. For an enthusiast-made product, it's not a big deal at all... I'm just grateful such a thing exists!
Shipping to AU is my favorite international spot, there's a direct flight from LAX to you, and your customs aren't giant jerks like some places (looking at you Germany). When I send out a big international order to a bunch of countries my Australian customers always get it first.
But I'm not an international man of mystery wanted in 54 countries by INTERPOL like herg.
Quoted from Shaneus:Hey, if ever you feel like doing an alternate Ripley's translite, I'll be able to give you the pleasure of shipping here once more
So much hate for the shrunken head!
I was demoing my LED OCD for some pinheads last night herg, they were all very impressed.
Quoted from TigerLaw:My own answer to this question above has me wondering if I need LEDOCD for my Tron Pro?
I absolutely love my LED OCD in my Tron. It's a night and day difference for me personally, once you see it you wouldn't ever want to go back.
