Can i change my backbox fluoresçent for a LED one if I change the starter?

I just bought a instatfits philips led fluorescent and want to know if i just need to change the starter to have it work

I did that on my GTB Genesis. Mine didn't need the starter. On the bulb it showed how to wire it so that you bypass all of the fluorescent hardware. i'm on vacation so I can't send a photo and not sure of the brand. Basically the AC was wired to one end of the bulb, the other end was not wired to anything.
Don't know if that helps. Good luck

Depends on the particular make/model of LED fluorescent you want to use. Some are direct plug n play with the original ballast and starter with no rewiring at all. Others you have to rewire the machine to bypass the ballast and starter.

I believe the later model is plug and play.
The earlier versions of the LED tubes required that you bypassed the ballast.
If you have your model number, you should be able to find the instructions online.
