remove the warming resistor for the flash bulbs?

I will have to leave this to someone else. I am not familiar with Data East, Just know on a Williams game a resistor needs to be removed from under the playfield to allow LED flash lamps to operate.

You guys should take a look at Marco Specialties site for their Data East Star Wars LED kits. I did a simple google search and found this note that may or may not shed some light (pun intended). Not the same game but same manufacturer so maybe of help.

INSTALLATION NOTE:
You must remove the ground wire to lamp sockets of #89 and #906 style flash bulbs for the LED's to operate correctly.
