Happy New Year All!

The Winter Wandering League is starting this Tuesday, 1/19 at Mortimer's! Registration will open at 6:30pm, with first flip before 7:30 after a short meeting. If you'd like to pre-register, please please email [email protected] with your full name, email address and phone number so I can add you to the system. $30 entry fee is due by our second meeting at Caffetto on 1/26.

We will be playing at 3 locations: Mortimer's, Cafetto & Nomad World Pub! John was able to work in a 5th game at Nomad, and they're super excited to have us play at their bar. We will be playing there on the third and sixth weeks of league, so the final schedule looks like this:

1/19 - Mortimer's
1/26 - Caffetto (final week to register / pay)
2/2 - Nomad World Pub
2/9 - Mortimer's
2/16 - Caffetto
2/23 - Nomad World Pub

New Machines!
Bride of Pinbot has undergone a MAJOR overhaul using a kit made by Dutch Pinball, and we now get to play Bride of Pinbot 2.0! The biggest new feature I personally appreciate is a ball save, but it has a completely new set of rules, light shows, sounds, player profiles and a high resolution color LCD! Might want to stop by Mortimer's and give it a shot ahead of Tuesday, as it will be played the first week!

Game of Thrones Pro has been replaced with Game of Thrones LE at Mort's! There's a whole new upper playfield with dual full size flippers, improved LED lighting, a few moved shots and some gorgeous 2 tone laser cut side armor. If you've already gotten familiar with the Pro, there's plenty of new strategy to figure out! Also, the Game of Thrones Launch Party is 1/31 with qualifying starting at 1PM, $10.

A brand new Wizard of Oz has landed at Nomad as their 5th game! If you haven't spent much time with WoZ since it's release a few years ago, the recent v5 code update has made some major changes to scoring & gameplay. I think it's a lot more fun, hopefully you do too.

The rules and league format are included below for your reference.

Format:
This is a 6 week league with a final party & tourney on week 7, travelling weekly between Mortimer's, Caffetto and possibly The Nomad World Pub to give us a little more game variety. Week-long high score side contests will continue this season, but new for this season are $5 weekly payouts to the player who earned the most points each week! More details will be available at the first league meeting on 1/19. Registration starts at 6:30 on 1/19, with first flip around 7:30pm. Group matching will start every subsequent week at 7pm sharp.

Costs:
$30 + weekly coin drop

Rules:
Your lowest score week will be dropped. IFPA rules will be used to govern gameplay, player conduct and machine malfunctions. Players must be present or have checked in with league organizers by 7pm to be seeded into groups for that week's play. If you are checked in but have not arrived by 7:10pm, your group may wait longer or start play at their discretion. If they choose to begin the game without you present, you will get last on that game and they will play without you. If you have not arrived by the time your group is ready to play their next game(s), you will receive last(s) until you arrive.
