Hey everyone. I made this logo the other night for my local league. Just wondering what y'all thought. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Any other cool logos out there you've seen?

I like it, but the 'Magic City' text is a bit thin. Might be hard to read on a shirt or decal, especially after a washing or two. The flippers at the bottom could be a bit bigger as well. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool logo!
I'll second steam's suggestions. You could also use your logo as a pinball and have the flippers sit below the logo ready to flip
Duely noted, guys! Anybody else want to weigh in? I'll make some changes and post the new neater today.
Hey Alex, that is exactly what my wife noticed. It looks awesome, but the "Magic City" should be a larger, easier to read font. Doctor that up and send it to me and I'll see about getting it swapped out on the website. Thanks for doing the logo!
Change the pinball LOL..rotating it doesn't count!! Apart from that yes you are moving in the right direction
I love the Seattle Logo! It's the inserts as letters that do it for me. I am currently getting a League together for Monterey, CA, and still struggling to pin down a logo. If you haven't already, go to the League page on the IFPA to see a bunch of logos, including the one for Seattle. I also really like the Detroit logo.
I only rotated it to make it look more like a crescent moon haha. It's not exactly Stern's pinball, although I did trace it and move some things around. I'll change it when I get home from the weekend.
I'm glad you like it! PM me your email address and I can send you the files directly when I get home on Sunday. It's all vector graphics, so it can be stretched to any size.
My only other suggestion was to take out some of the blue 'sky'. Maybe even have the pinball peek out from above that blue sky part. It's a lot of blue sky taking up area. Not bad, just another nitpicky thing. Nice work!

I like all the logos. However, I would remove the drop shadow from the outside of the magic city logo. They print better on shirts, decals etc without the external drop shadow. You can always add the shadow for a flier, etc, but your official logo probably shouldn't have it.
Just so you guys know, if you need shirts or decals I can work with you and host the design on our site so members can order anytime easily. We do some for the ok pinball enthusiasts, DFW pinball club and maybe a couple more soon. There isn't any additional cost, just the cost of the products ordered and if you want to do it as a fund raiser we can do that too.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I tried to overlap the text into the sky with a couple different fonts but it made it more difficult to read. The responses on here have been very helpful, especially considering I'm no graphic artist by any stretch of the imagination. I also thought about putting the text "Birmingham, Alabama" or similar on there. I thought it might fit on the flippers at the bottom, but the logo is already bottom heavy. Maybe it can fit in the 'sky' area without making things overly crowded. Details like that could make it on a t-shirt version, but the whole idea of a logo is to convey who you are simply and quickly.
Quoted from KingNine:Love that Grand Rapids one. Only pinball people will get it but damn it looks good.
Meh. it's just the BOP speaker cut out with words and a state silhouette.
I know what it is. I just think it is cool looking. Only pinheads will know what it is though. I'd be happy to wear that on a shirt if it were my club.

Yup, I was just at his place last night to check out his newly shopped out Frankenstein. He's maybe half a mile from me, we play at each other's places regularly.

I like the NBA look. Did you all consider Association instead of League so you could have been the NPA?

Oh that's funny. I was thinking and messing around last night, figures someone else would've come up with that idea as well. Here's what I tweeted last night under the guise of making pinball seem more like a sport:
