So my friend's mom called him and told him that she has a friend who has a pinball in storage. Confused? Good. Well I don't know what the pinball machine even is(nor do they even remember), just that they have one and that they will take a pic of it for me and send it along. The mystery has me on the edge of my seat here! Hopefully I'll find out later today or tomorrow.

Hopefully something nice, and not a worn out dirty filthy home pin.

    Fingers crossed for you !

Best way this can end: "it's called something madness, do you still want it?"

Better is it we got it new but when we took it out of the box, we couldn't find the cord, and put it in storage thinking we'd find a cord someday. You can have it if you get it out of there.

Worst is getting there and it's an Alive pin that they say is worth $15K on TV but you can have it for $10K because it doesn't turn on, smokes a lot when it did, and needs new glass all around.

We'll hope for the madness part.

Cause if you do, they said you could have it for $300.

Make sure you post what happens. I feel like a while back there was a similar thread where some dudes wife's co-worker said they had a pin and he can have it, but I don't think he ever posted what it was or what happened...I NEED CLOSURE!

    #9 11 years ago

    The suspense is killing me!

    #10 11 years ago

Keep us posted. Im interested to know.

Storage Wars: Damn! It's a Spiderman tabletop!!(NIB though) Seriously, hope it's a treasure.

    #12 11 years ago

    Sounds exciting, good luck.

    #13 11 years ago

I will definitely post what it is when I find out.

Probably turn out to be a pachinko machine.

    #16 11 years ago

Smokey 789 mentioned Storage Wars - So why don't we ever see pins show up in Storage Wars? I think it's about time a pinball showed up in a Storage Wars locker.

There was a Black Pyramid in a locker that hester bought that they actually gave a correct price value on it. Said it was worth between 400-600.

So you want to see a Humpty Dumpty with rat nests and general filth all over it "sell" for $2000, making it appear that the current price craze is ok to unbeknowing viewers?

Ha, it's funny you say that. I always hope that's the case when someone talks about a pin lead. I know I'm in the minority here.

Didn't hear about it tonight. Hopefully tomorrow! I'm very excited.

    #24 11 years ago

I will send good pin-vibes your way mdelorenzo.
At the very least you'll walk away with a sweet Roy Clark!

    #25 11 years ago

There was a 1936 Bally Bumper found in a house on Property Wars. The buyers "antique expert" mother valued it at $3,000 - 4,000.

    #26 11 years ago

how about; "It stopped working, we put it in storage, simple fix probably a fuse"

    #27 11 years ago

The game is X's and O's. Whomp.

    #28 11 years ago

Here's a pic that was sent to me. I haven't seen the machine yet. Playfield at least appears to be okay. I'll have to check her out and hopefully they don't want a lot.

depends what your def of a lot is. I know a ton of people that if you said I paid $1000 for this MM they would be like man I would never pay that you got ripped off. People are stupid

    #37 11 years ago

How do the X's and O's (pun intended) work on this game? Are they similar to the dual lamp inserts used on Pac-Man?

    #38 11 years ago

This is a great pin! I had mine for about a year before I sold it. $500-800 is the right price range for this. Don't pay $1000 like I did, lol.

    #39 11 years ago

Definitely go for that and be excited! That's a fun one.

    #40 11 years ago

Looks pretty fun to me. I like the OXO EM, this reminds me of that in an updated solid state format.

    #41 11 years ago

Whoops, I was thinking of the williams OXO . sorry. forget what I said

Right..I made an offer though. They need it gone so we will see.

    #46 11 years ago

My 1997 Pinball Price Guide says X's and O's in excellent condition should have gone for $500.
