We received some awesome news! A Limited Edition- The Walking Dead Pinball Machine

We had a generous dealer, whom wishes to be kept anonymous, offered Project Pinball Charity a Stern Limited Edition- The Walking Dead Pinball Machine to use for additional sweepstakes to help our charity cause. They approached Project Pinball Charity because they love our mission statement and wanted to help in this way.

From our understanding the Limited Edition- The Walking Dead pinball machines are spoken for at this time, so this seems like a really fantastic offer for the community and our charity.

The donation will be $75 for a chance to win this LE The Walking Dead Pinball Machine. There will be a 200 entry limit. The sweepstakes will be open tonight at 8:00pm edt Saturday, October 4th, 2014 on a separate page here: http://www.projectpinball.org/LE-sweepstakes

NOTE: This sweepstakes offering will hold a drawing for the winner of this prize as soon as this sweepstakes sells out completely. The date, time and place for drawing will be announced only after all the sweepstakes entries are completely sold out and accounted for.

This sweepstakes will be held separate from any of the other Project Pinball Charity sweepstakes that are offered at this time.

This donation will allow us to cover the costs of the LE model pinball machine and allow us to place another PRO model pinball machine in another Children's Hospital.

Have it shipped to a friend in the USA. Surely there would be people near the border who would volunteer if you don't know anyone!

Except official rules say you have to be a US citizen...

I'm in , can't pass this one up ..

Those who want the LE Sweepstakes make sure you choose the "LE Sweepstakes". Remember there is still a Pro sweepstakes running so choose the correct one!

#16 9 years ago

OK. It was nice to be on the other end of the sweepstakes this time.

#17 9 years ago

I'm feeling lucky, I'm in

#18 9 years ago

I think there's a problem with the pick-list for 3 entries...I assume it should be $225, not $150?

Grabbing an entry now, though - thanks guys!!

#25 9 years ago

missed this by 1.5 hours.

Good luck to all who joined.

#26 9 years ago

Are you really sure TWD is the right pin for a children's hospital?

#27 9 years ago

I'm in. What a fun way to donate money! If I don't win I am still happy... But if I win YaHoo!

#28 9 years ago

Is there an official form that needs to be filled out or does payment by itself get you in?

You didn't miss it, it's still live, only 24% full

Quoted from Jeremecium:

TWD is not going to the children's hospital, they will get a new pro most likely ST or IM or Mustang.. (AcDc, Met and TWD not great for youngsters).

Too bad Stern doesn't make PotC or SM or LOTR anymore those are great for all ages.

#30 9 years ago

Great charity, I've joined for chance, but see what you can do maybe get a MMR LE for $90 that's what I'm really looking for to have in the contest. That would sell out quick.

#31 9 years ago

2 entries in, awesome thing you do !!!

I think the donation payment is your ticket?

#35 9 years ago

I'm in, and second Rai's suggestion for an MMr auction!

#36 9 years ago

I'm in for a great cause. Ready for a big lebowski auction

No offense, but TWD LE, to me is a big mystery. I am intrigued but unsure if it will be any good. I believe it will, but unsure.

I backed out of MMR LE, and now regret it but the money's done spent already.

None taken! I probably wouldn't buy a TWD outright but I do love a good raffle. If they came up with an MMr (or even better a TBL) though I'd be all over that too!

#39 9 years ago

What a great cause. I am in for a few entries.

#40 9 years ago

Done! Great Cause!

#41 9 years ago

Jumped up to 40% sold overnight.

#43 9 years ago

I'm in! I have no interest in this title but is it for a great cause...

#44 9 years ago

$150 for a 1-in-100 chance is pretty bitchin'!

#45 9 years ago

Doing this for charity is great, but I'm just wondering about the math?

200 tickets * $75 = $15,000
TWD LE $8000
TWD Pro $5000
-------------------
Total $13,000 - and these costs are on the high side

This leaves at least $2000 extra, and doesn't seem like the LE was donated?
If the LE was donated, there is $10,000 left over.

Is this money going to the children's hospital or is the only donation going to be the TWD Pro?

Not true....you have a 1 TO 100 ratio chance because there are still 198 names besides yours available to be drawn. Because you bought 2, it does not cut down the possible draws.

You have a 99% chance of not winning with two entries instead of a 99.5% chance of not winning. You gained a half percent in odds, not 50 percent in chance.

#47 9 years ago

TBH, I was wondering about that too, but I didn't think about it until this morning.

#48 9 years ago

And I am in for my 0.5% chance!!!

#49 9 years ago

Update: LE drawing is at 50%. The regular/pro/VE drawing is 68%

I'll admit that I've been out of school for 20 years, but I think we're saying the same thing. If I buy 2 tickets, I have a 1% chance of winning a TWDLE. Those are great odds compared to playing the lottery.

The last thing I got for my charity money was a parking spot closer to the door at work. This is way better.
