Nice! I just added a TZ beside my WW and ES. I think every collection should have a special section set aside for Pat Lawlor machines

Heck no you are missing some of the best. TZ, TAF, Funhouse. Keep on keepin on

He didn't say best Lawlor games.

Nice lineup, hopefully you will continue to add over the coming years

At one point FH, WW and RS lined up together. Only RS endures....but my kids are bugging me for Rudy's return...

    lookn good!!!!!

I have TAF, TZ, FH and RS now. I would love to add WW, ES, BR, and NGG. I have passed up nice examples up of each at some point in the past

Not a fan so much of his Stern machines, but I haven't played FG.

I don't think any other designer captured "fun pinball" as much as Lawlor did.

    Very Nice!
You need an Earthshaker or Whirlwind in there.

    #9 6 years ago

    Thanks guys.

Yeah, I am missing a couple of big ones, but TAF just doesn't thrill me for some reason. Maybe I have to spend more time with it. I love FH, but RS is deeper and Rudy is usually beat to death on one's I've found. TZ is not for me. Played it plenty, but no desire. I like Earthshaker, but never played Whirlwind.

I'm actually contemplating trading or selling Shrek. It's pretty mint and HUO, and is a deep game, but I may want something faster playing in the lineup like TFLE, Tron, Whitewater, etc.

Shrek is rare and a great family theme, but I have limited space!

TAF does nothing for me either.

what about Monopoly? Lets not forget to include one of his best games (I miss mine)

We have had a TZ and WW since we started the collection and both are still here in freshened up form. Earthshaker has come and gone a few times, and in my opinion it is not quite as challenging as WW. Over the years Addams has come and gone as well as Funhouse.

Although I probably wont have another Addams in the house, I admit that I enjoy running across one from time to time at a friends house or a show. I get just enough play on it in outside settings, but it often sat dark while in the gameroom. Funhouse is entertaining, and guests say that they miss it, so I may search one out in the future.

I haven't played Ripleys, so maybe that would be a nice complement to the Lawlor tribute component of your collection.

IMO, there is too much repetition in having more than a couple games by any one designer though, whether it be either of the Richies, Lawlor, Popadiuk, etc.

Good luck and have fun along the way.

Put TZ and RBION in there and it will be perfect.

    .

Its lawlors best IMO. If you like the humor.

As for my lawlor lineup; TAF and RBION for now. Thinking of adding FGY.

I dream of one day having a TZ or NGG. Maybe I'll become independently wealthy.

    #16 6 years ago

Lawlor is one of my favorites = my line up is; TZ FH TAF WW and ES.

    #17 6 years ago

I have WW and RBION, wouldn't mind adding a RCT eventually.

    #18 6 years ago

I need a funhouse to sit next to my Whirlwind. Had The Roadshow and loved it, but I lost interest fairly quickly as the play is not all that varied.

Already have the TZ and TAF, just a matter of time until I find the right FH. Those are my grail pins. They just happen to be Lawlors as well, it wasn't my original intent. Hell, when I played them in the arcades, you could've told me Santa Claus designed them! I wouldn't have cared, they're great games. Once I get a FH, I'll probably move on to other System 11 and prior titles: Taxi, Pinbot, BK, etc., but these three Lawlors are the "musts" for my collection.

TAF, TZ and FH will never leave, unless pinball is over for me.

"If" I ever had to downsize and select my favorite 3 pinballs (out of 20+ in my collection)... it would be these 3; TZ, FH and TAF.

Agree on FGY being a really good Lawlor. Our line up is RS, FH, NGG, and WW.
