Have you ever found a previous owner's repair that made you laugh or wonder what the heck is that? I'm sure there are some great stories out there, so please share.

I'll get this started with two. The first one I call "The Pull Start Feature!" Found on a recent shuffle bowler project. Just tie a string to the start relay and your good to go!

The next one I found on a Williams Triple Strike. Apparently, it's easier to solder a wire to a clip lead, then clip it to the relay tab!

One of my favorite threads. And I have the honors to say I have contributed!

We can have an EM only thread started here. We've seen so many fried circuit boards and sloppy soldering, that we can smell it!

My Bazaar had fishing line tied to the zipper flipper mech so you could retract the flippers since the coil was burned out.

I have a Kicker machine that was set for Free Play by tying a piece of string around the Credit Unit wheel so it can't count below 2 nor above 8.

Thanks all! I searched for the poor repair thread but didn't find it. I was really referring to EM's anyway! Thanks JR! I probably have a couple more EM "hack" photos.
