I have a 77 Stern Stampede/Rawhide that it appears the previous owner sprayed down a couple of the scoring reels with WD40. I disassembled them and cleaned them with alcohol and now there are not sluggish but the also now overrun their home or number position. What is the correct way to adjust these or stop them from overrunning where they should stop. Thank you in advance for any help.

It over runs the zero when starting a game and lands between 0 and 1. Then we all know what happens then, the game won't start until I roll it back slightly.
