    During the late 60's or early 70's, there was a tv personality that did occasional specials that involved him playing in an actual NFL game. It was a bit of a comical series but he portrayed himself as a serious player. I believe he did similar episodes involving other sports as well. Driving me crazy that I can't remember his name. Anybody have a clue?

    “Paper Lion” was a 1968 movie about George playing for the Detroit Loins, starring Alan Alda as George Plimpton.
