I was looking at my older games and fondly remember bonus lights and multipliers and thought another feature to disappear is the insert 'Special when Lit'

what would have been the last game to have this ?

That's a good question. I can see my T-2 has "Special" inserts on the outlanes, but am sure there were probably a few others slightly newer.

Special may not seem as special to a lot of home players as it once was in the arcades.

Have special light on Austin powers before the toilet ramp that's activated through the mystery feature and is awarded when you shoot it in there and the knocker goes off and fat bastard says special delivery

So it may not day Special When Lit but Kiss (Stern) has it so it’s not completely gone.

    Quoted from Pickle:

Going down the outlanes doesn't count Used to be when Special when Lit was lit you could target it and win a free game. And you could keep targeting it.

Stern Pirates has specials in those side loop things.

interesting how the two most recent are games that recall pinballs golden years (mid 70's - mid 80's)
