With the help of this great forum my surf champ is now up and running
Everything works, but i have two minor issues where i need help for
First issue starting a game the for one player the red light for one player lights up, but also for player 4 lights up.
When going for more players no,problem they light up in sequense, but number four always lit. No any effect on the game wether playing one two , three or four players, but as soon as youmstarting a game number 1 and four lights up
Second minor issue|:
Resetting for new game the score reels reset and see the light switching between score reel one three and four. Score reel 2 stays lit but resets to,zero,as well.
By the start of a game score reel one lits and also score reel two lits always.
Playing al the reels, light ups in sequense, exept two is always on.
Again no any effect on the game reel for player two counts up and resets withputmany problem.
So it all works , but player four is always on and score reel two is always on.

player 4 light is an easy fix, it should be the top contact on player 4 stack on the player unit, its gaped too close, ie closed even when the stack is not lifted

Could be that or the Green&Black to Black&Red switch on the (Q) Game Over relay.

ah the 1 player and the 4 player light (not player 4), that should be on the game over as well.

Lights for player 2 score reels is either on the game over or on the p2 stack on the player unit

HowardR, show these switches as well

Little bit confusion about which lights, but try to show you on the picture.
This is what happens if starting the machine for one player.

Again its only the lights , all, option are working for every player, reset to zero etc
Gameover relais all adjusted and cleaned and visual checked

There are two ways the score reel lights are turned on, see figure below for P3 and P4, BUT the same contacts exist for P1 and P2, namely the player unit stack or Q the game over relay. One of those contacts is gaped too close and is closed when it should be open.

the "1 4" lights are also a Q relay problem... In game over mode "1 4" are lit as an attract feature. Check the contact on Q and make sure all are open when they should be.

The "4" of the pink "1 4" lights is controlled by the Slate&Black wire on the coin unit, or in this case more likely the Slate to Black&Red switch on the Last Ball (BX) relay. See attached image.

As long as we're giving each other orders, @pinhead52, give credit when you copy part of somebody else's post.
But nice collection, including one of my favorites, "Far Out"

Thanks Howard solved, it was a solder on the BX relais, when repaired both problems solved.

Need to find another project , space is the problem. Very much like these EM machines
