Lights are more then likely out because of the connector at the pcb or the header pins on the pcb itself. locate the gi string of lights and check the connector that runs the lights and you will find the issue There. Those connectors are normal they do not plug into anything. Maybe for future ad-ons or dollar bill validator or????? Manual should tell ya what they are for,, but nothing to do with the lights
