Does anyone have a diagram of the ball lock assembly under the tar pit? The manual seems to overlook it for some reason. I'm trying to build a new one, but I don't really want to gut the old one as someone did a semi-reasonable job riveting it together and I just assume keep it as a spare. I would settle for a list of part numbers since there are several parts involved in addition to the locking assembly. Thanks!

Another note: If someone has an old tar pit ramp that's destroyed beyond use but still has all the working parts attached, message me.

Is anyone actively producing alternate translites? I'm not a huge fan of the original and I know I'm not the only one.

Agreed, lol. I do like the other one though. Thanks Krh13!

Quoted from Juicerc51:

Wondering if anyone can help. Really looking for a blue ramp. Mine is broken and I cannot finish restoring my machine, let alone play it, without one.
I also need a couple of plastics but the ramp is my main concern. Any help would be appreciated.

So far no one has reproduced this particular ramp. They do show up on Ebay a couple of times a year, but are never cheap. Repo would be the way to go but for some reason no one has picked this one up yet. There are a few NOS that still exist for the purpose of reproducing, but there have not been any interested parties yet.

Would someone be so kind as to scan the "admit one" ball lane plastics and the plastic piece over the ball launch? I am going to try and remake them. The scan needs to be at least 300 dpi.

I replaced all mine recently, but all the ones I either didn't use or took off are still in storage. I'm hoping to have my storage unit empty by the end of the month. If you don't have one by the end of June just shoot me a DM to remind me and I'll dig up the plastics for you.

Anyone with a partial/full set of plastics for Last Action Hero? Broken is fine!

If you go back to post 2503 you will see 2 pics of what I had. The ones in post 2506 were sold, but the rest remain. Most are used, but some are the remains of a repo kit that I didn't want to go through the trouble of replacing. Let me know if any of them are what you need.

#2546 3 years ago

I'll take one complete pic with everything that's left. Pretty sure the small ones all sold and of the ones above, I only have the 3 large ones left.

#2547 3 years ago

Here is what remains. First pic is what remains of my used pieced. Second pic is what remains of the repo plastics.

Does anyone make a tar pit remake? I'm repairing mine that isn't too bad but just curious.

Nope. I had a NOS one that I offered to lend out for reproduction but was turned away.

Scoop wise, you could probably make use of a flex head led and fit it under/around the edge of the scoop. I have done similar to light out holes in the past. I would just grab some wire and solder up the light board, shouldn't be too much work.

Quoted from JodyG:

Does anyone have an extra Blue Lagoon ramp I could use to make a mold from? It can be somewhat broken...if all the pieces are there, even better. I know where I can get an intact one, but I would rather not take that one out of the machine if I can help it. I should have the main ramp for LAH available late Jan-early February.

I should have a NOS one that I have been holding onto waiting for someone willing to repro. I can go check tomorrow hopefully.

Just installed color dmd lcd on lah, and weirdest thing I haven't experienced before. My playfeild leds are reflecting onto the clear dmd cover. Anyone know a fix?
