hey gang. Just joined the club a couple weeks ago. Picked up a project and will probably be reaching out for help. Anyone happen to have a dmd sitting around doing nothing?

Quoted from trueno92:A gameplay vid showing the most recent pin2dmd colorization.
A lot of nice work here, esp at the 2nd multiball 4:20
Well I am convinced. That is sooo much better now and looks fantastic!!!
Wondering if the club can help. I don’t have an original manual and the online one isn’t correct. I’m trying to figure out which coil is for each wire going to the mpu. My crane lock isn’t working and magnets are not either. I’ve had to replace a few chips already and making progress but don’t know where these coils go to on the board. If you have a copy of that page and can snap a pic I’d appreciate it. Then I’ll be looking for help with sound once I have the coils working
Quoted from JasAce:I decided to put my own person touch on my machine, after Watching the movie I wanted to make the gun on the machine match the one from the movie lol. Just need to do a coat of Matt black on some parts then Clearcoat.

cool idea. will the clear help it hold up so it doesn't wear? did you take the gun apart?
Quoted from schudel5:Just picked one up recently. It works mostly. Quite a few connectors to replace, power supply to rebuild and transistors on magnet board missing. It'll clean up and play nicely once done.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
very nice. Grab the aftermarket magnet board off of ebay. was cheapest I could find and has the mosfets already in so its very stable.
Need a favor from one of you. About to do a flipper rebuild on mine and there are no eos switches. I found the wires but can’t find any pics of how they are wired up. Any help of a pic of both wired up to which blade is appreciated.
Quoted from Youpapin:You beautiful people and all your knowledge. This is my first pinball machine and there’s A LOT I don’t know to look for. This community is amazing at pointing people in the right direction. Thank you so much, there was a resistor that unsoldered itself on my shaker motor board. Going to fix it this morning. Thank you all again!

that looks like it was never soldered in. crazy it was working
Quoted from trueno92:If anyone is looking for a movie poster translite, i got fresh ones.
I just put this in my game and let me tell you what a game changer it is. Game plays better, ball goes faster, and I score more now that Arnolds big head isn't staring me down. but on a serious note, these are awesome!!! Great job on these!!!!
Quoted from trueno92:Haha damn! That made my night! The game also looks way better even when its off!
Oh, it also deathsaves better, too! If u pull it off successfully you are rewarded with a cool dmd animation as well!
I already have the super cool dmd animations....shhhhhhh it's a secret
