Laseriffic Topper Developments BK2000 Topper

Hey Everyone,

I thought I would start a thread about what future topper projects are coming and use this thread to show prototypes and such. We recently finished our Johnny Mnemonic and today our new Shadow. We have several more being worked on and a few customer customs as well. We have a TZ , BSD and a BM66 coming next. If anyone has suggestions on what they would like to see us do next just let us know. Everything can be found on our website www.laseriffic.com

The Shadow caught me off guard when I saw it, will definitely be getting one of those. Have several others and they all seem to fit in well and look great.

Or you can call and talk to Joe before laying into him on an online forum. Maybe there is a misunderstanding, maybe it's exactly what you say it is, maybe it's a topper thats just on his website that is not even available anymore like several that he has made. Crushing someone online and then refusing to talk to them solves absolutely nothing. I've dealt with Joe numerous times, even bought a game from him once. Always has been nice and professional, also never has posted any profanity laced tirades online that I have seen. Maybe he messed up, might want to give people a chance to explain themselves though.

Whatever Aurich.. You gave permission to me to do it. YOU wouldn't do it that was all. I had paid you for ALL toppers sold..remember all the transactions and me handing you money at Expo?? If I was hiding it it wouldn't be on my website, I was under the impression you were aware, simple truth. Also why are you swearing at me, when have I ever done that to you? Ill take them down no problem since you are the creator of this art. I do not steal, I do not lie I am up front with everyone so making these accusations about me is way off base Aurich.

Thank you for taking the toppers down Joe.

I apologize for swearing, that's not helpful.

But I got pretty angry when I saw them listed on the site with my name, like I did it, when I specifically said I wouldn't do a nude version. I felt violated. If you can't see that perspective then I dunno how else to explain it.

When we had the phone call discussion, because I came to you with it I didn't do it behind your back or anything. You didn't want to do the X version yourself ( meaning re create the art for it ) I then asked you if you mind me doing it because a guy in France wanted it for a Brothel..You said no. I paid you for that as well at Expo. I had no idea, believe me that I couldn't sell it after our discussion or I wouldn't have done it. I am really bummed this has happened and in no way wanted to deceive you.

Fair enough. I admit I probably let my emotions make me react stronger than I should have. Like I said I apologize for swearing and flipping out. But you made some assumptions about what was okay, and I took it personally. It was a gut punch to see that up on the site, listed with my name.

To be clear I'm not accusing you of cheating me out of money or something, I believe that that you haven't sold any. And great, because I'm just not comfortable with it.

You're right that I didn't make an issue out of that one in France, and that was my mistake, I wasn't happy about it, but I didn't feel like making an issue out of it at the time. It wasn't permission to sell them.

I am glad you both talked it out. I hope you both keep on making some cool mods for us to enjoy and don't let misunderstandings get in the way when/if there is an opportunity in the future to work together on a project.

Joe has done some things above and beyond for me, and I have a huge amount of respect for him. I saw his toppers at a show, and they are very impressive.

Aurich, I have talked with him a few times, great guy also. Very impressed with his work, and I hope to work with him in the future.

I think they are both stand up guys and an asset to the pinball community.

I would LOVE to see a BSD topper that kills it (pun intended )! I haven't seen anything worthy of the legend of Drac to put up there. It has to be layered and lighted back and front. It needs bats and rats and wolves and dracs....I know toppers aren't interactive but maybe some kind of mini motor that vibrates the bats/rats around. Or a glowing/lit moon. Drac needs the golden touch up there!

I have to have a ghostbusters that's not that ridiculous Stern topper. I have laseriffic toppers on all my other games except my lotr because there was no laseriffic at the time (and I love Matt's topper that's on it). My GB looks naked......
