We have had this in the works for sometime now and since Jay is sort of tied up right now I decided to post our concept and get some feedback. IM will be 3D off the led panel which will be a city skyline, we will have other buildings around the front giving it great 3D detail like he is flying through the city. We will have his eyes and blaster cut out, colored acrylic inserted and lit from behind. There will surely be some more add on's like clouds and such, but this is just a concept needing finishing.
Suggestions?

This is just a drawing, IM will be full color ( airbrushed & cleared ). The building skyline you see was just a idea to put behind IM, it is not the final background.

Move the hand up so it is facing the player directly, then put another layer in front with concentric circles originating at the palm of the hand. Lights for that layer would be normally off but would flash to look like he's shooting at you.

I would get rid of the clouds, they remind me of Batman which is a completely different superhero

Removing the clouds will also make the topper outline much more "distinct" (is that the right word?).

I also think the design leans too much to the left, if you know what I mean. Could you somehow make it more centered? Possibly orbit the view to the left a little, getting his face and hand in the center?

Ok.. all suggestions have been noted and sent to Jay to make the adjustments you mentioned. i will re post a new concept drawing as soon as Jay gets to it, hopefully today.

It's cool but I don't really like it Joe I'd prefer something simpler like IM with his hand up with an open arc on his hand maybe with some sort of etched effect showing a repulsar blast.

Here is our IM, 24" long and looking good. His eyes and hand will have colored acrylic installed and lights mounted behind. This is all I will reveal for now on this. I should have these ready in about 2 weeks.
